Pokebank uses the eShop for account handling, so it'd throw up the same update nag.

The patch itself has to be implemented into a B9S payload. Here's the commit to Luma where it was removed.

hi recently banned here so concerning method 2 it says in the requirements

Thanks, Method #1 worked for me, it's a temporary ban it seems. Donated my spare 2DS's friendcodeseedB since I never play on it. (It literally sits in a drawer of my desk, waiting to be used and abused for this type of shit)

I heard of the banwave this afternoon, but i was at work, so i came home, and opened all 4 3DS systems, and only my girlfriend's Galaxy XL was banned, and never been banned before, so I assume it was this recent banwave.
