Good evening,

I'm having this weird issue when I turn on my Acer ES1-111M-P2YU. (See the picture).
Sometimes, it stays like that until I turn the computer off, then I turn it on again, and the issue doesn't occur and the boot screen comes normally (Acer bootscreen) and sometimes, it goes straight to the bootscreen after issue on pciture happens. I tried to upload a video but couldn't. If someone knows what this could be please help so I can know what to do with that, this is my college computer at the moment.

Windows 10. Up to date drivers. Should I reinstall them? Today I turned it on, issue did not happen.

This is caused by a few things. Monitor could be dying, gpu more then likely needs to be serviced, graphics driver needs to be updated, or your video cable has a broken wire inside. Or if this is a laptop, try replacing your thermal paste and thermal pads inside the pc.

I know little of applying thermal paste to it. I managed to change ram and it required to remove the motherboard. I took it apart only once but it's been working fine for more than a year. Oh well... I'll try the monitor test, it can be using HDMI right?
