It might seem obvious, but for those of you checking your verification, make sure you type your username into the url exactly as it appears here.
So if you've got a capital letter, don't forget to put that in the url, otherwise it'll act as if you're looking for a different user and say "unverified"

Anyway, to keep my posts in this thread relatively on-topic, I've caved in and submitted my day-one install evidence to @Quantumcat. I didn't really care about the b9s e-peen thing at first but it's something I can just stick in my signature as a link and forget about so it's fine.
