Woah! You're kidding me, this thread is still around!? Well...when was the last time I posted in here...?

This is my wireless. I'm paying for 18MB/ps, so it being this slow kinda pisses me off.

Oh. Well here's my internet now:

This is via wireless, so I'm fairly impressed. I pay for, and usually get, 200 down, 25 up with Ethernet.

Can I only say that I can't install OF where I live and that I have to deal with <2 Mb of download speed and lots of ping?

So jealous of American's. Seems you guys always get the fastest down and up speeds for low prices.

How much do you pay for that? I pay about £40 a month without line rental for mine.

Well, I'm not exactly sure because we have in the contract home phone + internet TV + 1 or 2 cellphone contracts on the same contract, but it could be around 70€/month w/o the cellphone contracts.

EDIT: with everything it is around 115€/month or something like that. It is fibre optic internet.

Hot damn, thats a lot less than what I'd have to pay for similar speed broadband.

edit: It would seem my ISP maxes out at 300mb/s which is the fastest commercially available. Broadband speeds in the UK are always at a premium.

That was before hughesnet upgraded their stuff, this is what i get now

Ping is actually better, still dreadful though.
I'm throttled rn (gotta love satellite data caps), so download is at 2.2 Mbps,
but i can get up to 50ish Mbps download unthrottled, so it actually improved quite a bit

Not bad for only 10$ (USD) a month, don't you agree? :)

P.S.
I just become champion of the GBAtemp speed wave as well. :hrth:
