Hi there,
Any chance you'd be willing to share the blank background cards? Your work is amazing, but I really want to make a complete matching set for all the characters. It makes perfect sense to have them all in separate series, but I'd rather have all the cards match. I'd be happy to share my work with the forum when it's all finished. I'll be working in photoshop so they'll all be pretty high quality as well. Specifically if you only want to post one background, i'd like the 30th Anniversary background with the bottom half being white. Those look incredible!

These are 100% for personal use as well. I'm just in Amiibo customizer, but also a Pilot, and i'd like my Amiibo items to come with me on the road, and I cant pack all those figures!

Ok... So my cards came in. Here are the results:

Comparing them to the ones I had printed at staples on 12PT Glossy Card Stock and cut myself:

Cardstock:

MPC:

MPC on the left, card stock on the right:
IMG_6054.jpg IMG_6049.jpg

I used to split cards in order to make gaff cards for magic tricks. Using the same techniques I tried to split a card and put the tag in side the card and glue it back together:
IMG_6055.jpg
As you can see... the back of the card didnt really hold up well. Becoming all wrinkly (just from me peeling it off the front). So I stuck with just doubling up the cards and sand-wedging the tag in between. Doubling up the cards also makes it more sturdy anyway.

Here is the side view.... Doubled up MPC on top, Doubled up Card stock on bottom:
IMG_6058.PNG

Summary:
I really liked the quality of MPC. They matched the colour closer to the actual digital image too, where staples prints were a little too saturated. The finish also seems more durable then the more glossy finish on the staples print. It is pretty noticeable that it is two cards doubled up though, where as with getting them printed at staples lets you cut them after you glued them together... making it almost impossible to tell where each half starts and ends. When I had the cards printed at MPC I put the backs in just in case I could get away without having to double them up. Since I know now I will be doubling them up, if I get more I will just leave the backs white. At least that will help a little (you wouldn't see the darker line in between the two card edges as much).

@Random11 did you 'recreate' that paint background for botw or found it online?

I don't think I even came close to recreating the paint on the backgrounds of the botw cards. I kinda just gave up trying and decided to take the paint from the background of the character art and kinda mesh it all together until I got something that would cover the card.

Another user posted a template they made for the wolf link amiibo here https://gbatemp.net/threads/compcs-amiibo-cards.413508/page-18#post-6135928

It's not the same as mine but it's pretty close. You can use that if you wanted. At this time I am not going to give out my background or photoshop files.

All the images are still in the op. I just deleted the PDF. They arnt locked?
Thanks Random11 . Do you mind if I print them as well? Can I print from the one drive location? I saw the post you made about the printed playing cards. Looks rad as hell.
I've got access to an ID card printer that seems to have really good resolution. I've made some blank tags on the generic small circle ones but thinking of printing onto the ID card and have it flashed with the amiibo. But the back I would like to have the list of items it corresponds with. Im working on gathering the images and formatting it.

Really sucks to see these on flEaBay,Etsy, and other sites for sale. Seems like the idea was off to a good start and people were sharing knowledge and images and than of course some people have to capitalise and be dix.

I dont mind if you print them thats why I posted the images. If you want to print onto the credit card sized pvc nfc tags, here are the same images formatted to that size. http://gbatemp.net/threads/random11s-credit-card-sized-amiibo-cards.465999/

gawd, thats a joke.
Well, there was that. Plus:
  1. people aren't all going to want the backs rotated like I had.
  2. The PDF had all versions of all cards which means people either had to delete the cards they didn't want, which they would need a PDF editor and make sure that when they save the edit the PDF editor didn't compress the images, which usually happenes if you don't know what you are doing. Or they would have to mess around with a complicated way of selecting only the pages they wanted when printing.
  3. Every time I made a change it was one more thing I had to update. And when people are selling your work you put out there for free, you tend not to care to put out any extra effort.
  4. I already showed everyone how to make their own pdfs with the exact cards they want.
Not that I really feel it necessary to explain my reasoning. You should be happy I didn't delete the whole thread.

Ok... So my cards came in. Here are the results:

Mine came in last week but I never got to post them. So I ordered the stock 300mg, MPC standard finish, no extras and this is the final result. I decided not to do the sandwiching of cards but try my best to make the tag look like it was always meant to be part of the card like that. They look great in the sleeves and are 100% a better quality finish than my original standard printer hand cut out.

Thanks for these printed out one for my backup of my Wolf Link Amiibo for BOTW so I could just leave it in its box. I decided to make a larger one with 4x6" HP photo paper and my Brother MFC-J825DW. since I wanted to also use it as a bookmark for my hardcover guide. Printed out the front and back. Placed the NFC sticker inside near the bottom so I could still easily scan it if I was using the Pro controller. Used painters tape to line up an edge and glued them with Elmers Extreme glue stick.

I like it but now I'm really interested in making any future ones in the Amiibo card size and style. All of the ones I have found on these forums have been really excellent including yours. Thanks for making these.

This is how my Bookmark backup turned out.

My cards weren't made to be printed that big. When blowing things up things will start to get pixelated. I hope the quality wasn't too poor for you at that size. It's hard to tell from the photo.
