Oh boy, has this been asked a lot.
I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find a solution. I've tried a lot of stuff.

So, my problem:
I have this R4 card, and I've managed to get Black 2 working fine. The game plays without any lag or any other sort of problem. However, the game will freeze in random places. Doing some research showed me that it could be AP, so I tried patching a clean Black 2 ROM with all sorts of different patches, and it's always the same thing. Freezing in random places without any sort of pattern or warning. Looking into it more I read it might have to do with an old AP patch, as AP patches for the game went through many stages as they fixed various things (Freezing, EXP glitch ect.)

So, I was wondering if anyone has like the latest known AP patch for the game. Maybe I've been using older ones (as most threads are from around 2012 when the game was released.) If someone could point me in some direction that would be AMAZING. Thanks in advance!

Figure out which R4 you have and find the latest software for it, such as Wood. If the software supports Black 2 natively, then you should try a fresh copy of Black 2 without any patches. If you still have freezing issues, then you might want to try reformatting your SD card.

What is the URL on the cart?
If it's just a normal R4, just install Wood R4

I'm back! I have done what Lacius has suggested with no avail. The game continues to randomly freeze. I have another SD card, maybe I should try that instead.
