With the latest build I can load ROMs fine (but I had no problem with that using the version from your dropbox link also) and sound is now working on PSTV :)
It does still crash if I 'close content' then load another ROM, but it sounds like you know about that issue already. Let me know if crash dumps are of any use.

I'm having problems to run games on my PSTV for the following cores:

- Final Burn Alpha
- CPS1, CPS2
- MAME 2000, 2003
- Neo Geo

Tried with RetroArch 1.4.1 and 1.5.0 versions.

I always get "(C2-12828-1)" error everytime I try load some rom (Load content and load the core)

Other core are working fine.

I was thinking to try 1.3.6 version but I just found .velf files, can't find vpk versions to try.

Does anyone can help me?

Thank you.

I'm play Policenauts, use psx bin file. At the end of disk 1, I go to "Quick menu"- Disk Control- Disk Cycle Tray Status then Disk Image Append, select Disk 2, but instead of continue, the emulator loaded disk 2 from Start.
Anyone can tell me where I wrong?
Thanks.

Thank you.

Use 1.4.1 for pstv. Are you using the right romsets and including parent roms if needed? They all use different sets. Look at the first post of this thread for that info. Neogeo requires the neogeo.zip bios file in the same folder with your neogeo roms to run those games. Try the all in one vpk versus the individual cores. You also dont need to load the core prior to loading roms.

@sj33 @mindglitch

Thank for replying, I already tried 1.4.1, bios file is in the same folder with the roms, for neo geo.
Tried with retroarch vpk (all in one) and individual vpk, and still got same error.

I only tried with HD mounted as ux0, maybe if I try it using internal memory it should work?
Didn't test with internal memory (retroarch installation and roms) because internal memory didn't have space for all my roms.

Please use latest nightly for pstv. It fixes problems after 1.4.1 and slow io

Couple questions:
  1. If I lock my Vita while playing a PS1 game, it will crash upon resuming. Is there any way to fix this?
  2. Is there any way to have multiple save files for PS1 games? I know there are save states, but I'd rather use multiple memcards as in the original system.

How might I get PCE-CD games to work in with mednafen? It won't detect any games in a particular directory. I have them in .bin/.cue format, but it just doesn't see anything. Even tried the Vita permission fix application. I've also read that I might need .pce files, but I'm not sure how to convert them. Would an extension change work, or do I need to find them in another format?

In retroarch options: show all files (i dont have my vita near, but check for something like that).

Also, you need the bios of PcEngine.
Good luck.

Reposting this question from a different thread because I was told that this would be the best place to ask:

I've had trouble with my right analog stick constantly moving down ever since I swapped my 3.65 motherboard out for a 3.60 one. Even after I replaced it with another analog stick, it continues to move in the same direction no matter what I try.

I've noticed that I can't really operate the menus in Vita Retroarch, and I figured that it was because they are controlled via the right analog stick. Is there a cfg file or something that I can manually tweak to change how I control the menus? It would make this much easier to deal with while I figure my analog stick issue out.
