I don't see micorosoft being paticullary happy with people getting Xbox 360 games on their system unless it's through their own digital storefront

True but the fact that the system is wide open in dev mode to emulation of many other games is rather hilarious.
No userland or kernal haxx needed when was the last time we ever saw a console simple as this. Anyways keep up the good work.

Honestly, I'm inclined to believe that Micorsoft doesn't give two shits what people do with their systems as long as

1. Their security is not compromised
2. They're not having to deal with suits or lawyers

Dev Mode allows for that kind of sweet spot between Microsoft and Modders/Emulation Enthusiats. Everyone Wins

It's funny i work at local gameshop repairing and or reversing consoles and handhelds. We have alot of xboxone's stacked up people have traded in half
broken ie been into and or disc drive issues. I was hoping one day someone would find a way to run normal windows 10 on them and use them for a mini slimline emu tower or similar. But this is way better i gotta get a dev account and start learning these finds your posting and creating in your threads gotta say kudos to you all for making this public

For me it's just about making a positive change within the community. Even if that's in a small kind of way. It really makes it all worth it when i get messages from people telling me how much more use they get out of their console now or how excited they are to replay the games that they grew up with themselves as kids. As far as I'm concerned we have only just gotten started. There are still many more applications which need to be ported to UWP. PS2,Dreamcast, Kodi (Team Kodi has said they're working on it) If we could get a Virtualbox UWP Port techincally it'd be possible to run Linux or FreeBSD on the Xbox One

Update: Just finished work on the U.I. for the Mainpage of PSX-BOX on the Xbox One

This is what you will see when you start PSX-BOX

The kind of design I had in mind was Something that looked simple but playful. Just like the original PS Logo. The design choice was totally on purpose

I don't know how you learn best so I tried to be inclusive of all different types of resources between written word, a book, and video content.
Also when you finish with a tutorial series i highly recommend getting involved in an open source project. Could be one of mine or someone elses. Because outside of learning the fundamentals, the path to becoming and adept lies in the old mantra of practice, practice practice

Its not done yet, the buttons dont do anything(except for License and About), when it will be done, the testing will be open to everyone

Update: Just implemented Importing Exporting and setting bios from USB Drive. All that's left is some basic config stuff I.E. Button Mapping and Loading in the Emulator Core as a C++ DLL so the emulator can be called when a game is loaded in

This is the current rendition of the User Interface. It has improved since the first rendition and it looks much better on the Xbox One than the old U.I did
