I have download and tried several builds from retroarch on my PSTV.

NONE of the individual cores work, the only one that works are the All In One vpks.

But i would like my live area with the Stand Alone emulators, 1 bubble for each.

When i install them, they all open normally, they also see the path of the roms, they can be loaded from USB, but as soon as i open a rom, the emulator crash, can recall correctly, but i think it trows a c-12828-1 error.

Is there anything that can be done? i mean, All In One works, and games can be played, however, i would like my emulators separated.

Basically all cores are crashing. if they are standalone versions.
It's a pain in the arse on pstv. I had to basically go through different builds finding the cores I wanted that would work. It's a bit of a mess my setup because loading different cores also loads different versions of the xmb. I've managed to get the 12 cores I wanted running also with manually editing the config on pc to show a border as well. It's so fucked up on the pstv I don't know why. I can have a fully working setup on my vita but the same setup won't work on pstv.

Once you get the cores working that you want you can extract the vpk and add your own icon and live area pictures and zip again to install so they look like this.

Here to confirm what Columbo2811 stated above. No individual cores from current builds work on pstv. Looks like you'll need to use the all in one or get Columbo to post what builds he got his cores from.

I wonder if libretto knows about this bug?

SNES CORE WORKS ON PSTV, sure more also does too (Henkaku on Adrenaline 3.1)

http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/playstation/vita/

2017-05-05_RetroArch, tested "snes9x2005_libretro.vpk", plays SNES great. (2002 version crashes, and the 2010 version for snes9x is very slow) ... ... ... ... just pick the .vpk emulator you want out of the package and you have an individual core that works, or are we on the same subject? Only played with snes. Mame sounds good, but, something about objective less coin based gameplay rubs me the wrong way. (too lazy to test "2017 05-06_RetroArch" package, sure the result are the same, since the file sizes appear the same for the snes emulators in there).

EDIT - More testing Works Best!

snes9x2005_libretro.vpk (not the plus version or 2010 or 2002 version)
2017-05-05_RetroArch and 2017-05-06_RetroArch nightly builds tested

Game to test is Super Mario RPG to see the difference also Final Fantasy 6 (the hard mod versions) also I read that a "better amphetamin plugin" can increase the clock speed to fix any remaining slowdowns
