Hey, so i follow the wiiu.guide about a month or two, and i have redNAND. From what i gather i should use sysNAND instead, so i would like to use that.
So i was wondering about a few things:
1. I understand that the games can still be used on sysNAND, what would be the best way to install the tickets instead of the whole game?
2. Are saves the same with sys and red? do i need to transfer them?
3. What would be the best way to start using sysNAND? right now i have CBHC with mochaCFW. should i just change mocha settings?
4. After i start using sysNAND, can i just format my SD?

Thank you very very much

Wait, are you using CBHC with MochaCFW inside RedNand? Thats like using 3 different Custom Firmwares on top of each other. You should read the Noob Guide that Kafluke wrote.

And before you format your SD Card, make sure you know what you are doing. You don't want to brick your console.

If I were you, I would start from scratch. I would uninstall CBHC, remove MochaCFW and RedNand, then start from scratch.

You really don't need RedNand unless your a developer. If you want to autoboot into CFW when you boot up the console, you should go with CBHC to autoboot into HaxChi sigpatched sysNAND. That should be the only CFW running on your console. Thats if you choose to Autoboot a CFW when you turn the console on anyway. If you want to run the CFW manually every time you turn on your console, then choose either Mocha by itself, or HaxChi by itself.

Just read the Noob Guide by kafluke, he explains everything you need to know about running CFW.

Well i just followed the guide. It told me to install that :\ .
I'm new to the whole WiiU scene, but i do have some knowledge with the 3DS. it did seem odd to me to install redNAND (as i did do some research before), but i decided not to take any chances.
And I dont mind starting from scratch, i just dont really want to start installing everything again and lose my saves.

I believe you only need to transfer your tickets.

Don't wipe anything out until you dump your tickets with that program. Something like tik2sd (I don't remember the name)

Then you need to grab a ticket file from your Wii U itself and paste every information you got from tik2sd there, then redump it back.
After that, reboot your Wii U. If you screwed up tickets, every program will show as corrupted. [Probably.]

So i changed CBHC settings to boot sysNAND, and i did a tik2sd dump from redNAND before that. SysNAND shows the installed games but it tells me its connected to a different NNID. is it a ticket problem? i dont really see an option to install tickets from tik2sd

You did everything right. Now I think you have to manually put the tickets on sysnand with ftpeverywhere

I tried messing around a bit with ftpeverywhere and while i do see a ticket folder i'm not sure i'm looking at the right place, and i rather not touch it. I cant seem to find any info on installing tickets without installing the game itself (something like tikshop on the 3DS would be amazing, guess i'm not that lucky this time), did you try it yourself or seen a guide on doing it?
