How to sideload PS1 Emulator on Xbox One (Needs further testing)

PSX-BOX is officialy dead. Due to some other projects I'm involved in, I don't have the time to work on it nor do I have the interest in the project anymore.

If you want PS1 Emulation on Xbox One you can either A. Get winpse10 for free (Not hard to find, just have a look around the forums) or B. You can install RetriX (A Libretro Port for Xbox One). Currently PS1 Emulation on RetriX is still a work in progress so keep that in mind.

as this one has no release yet can i have the link to the previous emulators
It hardly runs anything at all. Especially "well". I wouldnt even bother tbh. Every game I threw at it either had intense FPS issues (some games ran too fast, which I wasnt expecting lol. No limiter I guess?) or refused to boot. That includes the most basic flagship games such as Crash

We are currently working on a PS1 emulator, but with the current lag of current emulators it might be possible but with a lot of comprimises, so if you want the full experience then, for now, no :(

"Current lag"? PPSSPP Runs almost flawlessly. The only emulator that has some latency issues is N64 however it still plays alot of games decently. If PS1 Emulator is optimized right it will run great. Yeah PS2 is possible but I'm unsure of the performance. I mean i have heard from different folks on the net that there have been people who have gotten "Dolphin" to run and performance was actually decent. So if Dolphin can then yes I am sure pcsx2 can be ported and PS2 games are possible :) It's just right now our current focus in PS1

There is some lag present in PPSSPP, you cant really act like its not there, but its playable, so yea :D, also, if you do want to make a PS2 Emu, you know who to contact ;)

A Few... but most games run almost flawlessly out of the many that have been tested. So just because a small handful of games have some lag doesn't mean that PS2 Emulation isn't possible or that PS2 games wouldn't run at an optimal speed.

I dont want to fight, but I said the full experience, I didnt say no to actually running a game, of course, that is very possible, but as you said, im not sure about the performance

Who said anything about fighting? I was just stating that the performance of ppsspp is far better than anyone probably thought it was gonna be and runs quite a few games well. So the possibility of PS2 Emulation is certainly there. Just because a person makes a counterpoint to your point doesn't mean they are "fighting you" lol

ppsspp has some lag in games but i dont think its the xbox one's fault i think games just need the right settings to run great and currently we cant do that because it freezes when making separate settings

i dont have a high end pc to test the differences in lag tho but it runs better then my laptop and tablet

the emulator it self has some bugs that need work for example it

freezes alot
should have full screen by default
there's a save game limit (verified) - had to reinstall ppsspp because it wouldnt let me save anymore
settings dont save all the time and go back to default
remap the b button so we can use it as a O button

edit: since i have a modded ps2 i can play games at full speed so my vote goes to either retroarch or dolphin or nullcast

that would be overkill
Well it is its own native hardware with a software emulator MS uses for 360 backwards compatability. Well it would be funny to see it actually booting
anything at all. You need win 10 for Xenia which the xbox one is running a stripped down version of anyways.

We already almost got it done, and yes, you are right, a team always has to have its members on a good note with each other

David, I can have a disagreement with a paticular person and still like them and work with them lol. I'm not "Angry" at you :rofl2:.

That would be a lawsuit waiting to happen lol

I don't see micorosoft being paticullary happy with people getting Xbox 360 games on their system unless it's through their own digital storefront. And as cool as it would be Xenia I believe can only run frogger and a couple other games, at least from what i have studied

EDIT: Actually it can run quite a few games. Wow I'm impressed. Stuff has changed
