That doesn't explain anything though for the average user.. What does it do? What does it contain? What is it needed for? etc..
My theory is that it gives custom RNG on System boot or something like that.
It also includes some parts of OTP so i'm still researching that.

I kinda get it, SEEPROM means Serial EEPROM. It includes information about hardware and system stuff. It also includes Boot parameters and other stuff.
For it's use, i still don't know but it might come in handy so it's still okay to dump it.

Alright, it's time to work on homebrew section!
Oh and also, check WiiUBrU guide! It's very nice and very easy to follow.

I'll add Disc2App [Dump Wii U discs to installable format] to Brazilian Method upon request.
[Mostly because i'm now focusing on studying and if somebody needs it, i will just write it for him/her.]

A Disc2App guide would be nice. Right now I'm just using the Disc2App section on the wii.guide site. The only issue I'm coming across now is that after I copy my game discs to the Wii U USB drive and try to play them, my saves aren't there. I have been doing some searching and I think I figured out that the save file and the game have to be in the same place. Like since I used to play the actual disc my save file in on the system storage. But now that I put the game USB and played it from there it thinks there is no save file. So somehow I have to get that save file from the system storage to the USB drive but I can't figure it out. So if you do a Disc2App section to your guide I would definitely make sure you include how to make sure there game saves work after installing to USB.

Dump saves using SaveMii or Saviine then redump them back and they should work again.
I also will include that but tomorrow, but for now, you can check Disc2App guide on wiiubru.com/guide

That was the thing though. I couldn't figure out how to use SaveMii. I'm sure I could figure it out but I just didn't have any more free time to spend. I'll try messing wit it again another day. And thanks for mentioning that other guide. I'll check it out and see if it helps.

Here you go, disc2app method is available! :)
Not bad but you still need to talk about the saves. For example, I have Mario Kart 8 and all the DLC. When I installed Mario Kart 8 to my USB drive and loaded it uo, both my saves and DLC weren't there. The game was on the USB but my save and DLC were on the NAND. So I tried copying over the save and DLC to USB and they do copy over. But it erased the game. But now the save and DLC were on the USB so I tried installing the game again. This time it installed and everything worked like it should.

So I would recommend you put a note before you have someone start disc2app that they move over their saves to USB (if that's where they are installing to) before actually installing the game. I hope I'm explaining this well enough for you to understand me.

Sure. I personally dump saves with SysConfigTool and then i inject them via Saviine. Not really user friendly method... I'll add that when i will find some time tomorrow.
oh man i have to battle with Saviine again...

Yeah, I kinda figured there was a way to do it like that but I just didn't know how and couldn't figure it out. But just copying the saves first and then installing the game seemed to work.

That works too.
I'm not using any sort of USB HDD device with my Wii U and i'm using just NAND memory.
Good to know that works though. Gonna edit that tomorrow. Thanks.

Just make sure you try it out for yourself first. Just to make sure it works like you expect it to based on what I said.

I've been gone since Brazilian method came about, so just some clarifying questions. I already have a few games installed on my USB. If I install CFW, is it like a fresh system and won't see those games? And what benefit does CFW have to just sticking with Brazilian? Just signature patches and such for VC games?

Unless you did a redNAND method, your games will be visible.
CFW allows you to run non-legit [eShop, VC, vWii VC] games and provides you IOSU Speed Boost [SDCard r/w speed boost]
Brazilian allows you to play backup games and also those non-legit ones, like fa

So i bought a (secondhand) Wii U a few days ago. And i actually can dl brain training for free. I'm not quite sure why. I've formatted fully so its not linked to the previous persons NNID (i think?)

But i'm wondering how safe CBHC is, if i get my NNID banned for example would i brick?
