I've been sitting in my bed for the past week basically biting my nails waiting for the English dub for the new Attack on Titan season to come out! I am SO fucking excited to see this new season!

It pains me to say that I watch dubs. It really does. I feel more connected to the dubs. Although it does hinder the speed in which I get to watch my shows, I love it.

I'm basically making this post just because I can't get over how DAMN excited I am for the english episodes to release! If someone can make a COMPELLING argument as to why I should watch sub instead....I might do it.

No spoilers pls k thx

Don't watch it at all. Just read the manga.
Lol I plan on reading the manga as soon as I finish the series...which may never happen considering they just started making season 2 after 4 damn years.

I might read the Manga at some point. I'd love to see how to story ends. I just feel more emotional to the TV series and thats what gets me. I love the connected emotions I have to the TV series and I don't think I would get that if I read the manga

just started making season 2
i don't quite think that's how the industry works

how fast are dubs coming out for this, anyway? i watched the first season subbed, and i was under the impression that it took months for dubs to get done.

I was reading the manga long before the anime came out. When the anime came out, I was originally hesitant to watch it because I already knew what was going to happen, but the OP got me into wanting to watch it. Sadly, the OP for season 2 sucks so hard that I can't continue to watch past episode 1.
I'll probably only watch the specials.

The same fate befell Boku no Hero season 2. Reading the manga, season 1 came out with great OP, watched all of it, but quit watching after season 2 episode 1 because the OP was garbage.

The producer of the show claims that there are not enough people to work on the show due to financial issues. The anime industry is dying, sadly enough. It's because they are horrible with piracy and mainly sell their shows to DVD. Sad, honestly :(

Anyways, the dubs are coming out pretty slow. The first dub is not released until the 22nd. Yikes

Eh i don't understand AOT hype. It's interesting but for me it's just boring.
But oh well, if others like it then i don't mind.

It's "Simuldub" Which is getting us dubbed episodes slightly after the Japanese launches. AoT was fine, but they did another show I liked a lot more. (Kabenari of the Iron Fortress) It's only subbed though. Anyways, yea the simuldub thing gets them to us dubbed before it's done airing in Japan. That said, I'll wait until it's all up and watch it over a weekend.
