Actually, just checked and the water is perfect for me! Make sure you have all the txt files and they have proper formatting. ;)

I have all files and yes there in proper format, they just dont work properly and framerate tanks in 4k (used to work fine at 4k), if they do work for you then must be emulator issue then with some hardware

Can a dev or anyone who knows tell me if they're planning on releasing some debug tools for game modding? e.g. disassembler, pc breakpoints, mem breakpoints, symbol map support. I'm really itching to "fix" smash 4.

So no more level crashes in Yoshi's Woolly World anymore in 1.7.5, eh? How is the rest of the game then. The long loading times don't bug me. The lighting seems a bit bugged, though. Worst I've seen, though was the first boss (Big Montgomery) not having a real floor and stuff. Any more glitches like that?

I'm currently putting together a new computer and I was thinking about going the Ryzen way (ryzen 5 1600). How is the performance nowadays on these new AMD cpu's?

Devs don't come around here often. I asked about this on the official discord and Exzap told me a debugger with breakpoints is planed but low priority. So one day. I would love to tweak the durability system in BotW. I like the system I just think it goes a bit too far.

There is a user on here with a ryzen system. You can search back and try to find him or some of his posts. But it seems like about not overclocked Haswell level of performance as far as cemu is concerned.

Forgive me, but is it possible for cemu to dump textures? I'd like to dump BOTW's textures (or at least find somewhere online that has them dumped) but I'm not sure if I should go through the trouble of downloading BOTW and Cemu to try.

Do you have AMD perchance? I've got nvidia and the same issues with the water. Even with shader 'fix'.
Nvidia (970)

And to be clear, I'm just using the 1080p one (not the 4k).

Zero issue on 1080p on 1.7.5 with perf. By format, I mean I had to open each one on the site and manually copy/paste it to a txt file. Doing anything else would just give me a blob of text (which caused issues)

Mine looks the same but without.txt as thats not needed and i did same with copy text to a clean txt file, main menu water looks fine, but level 2 water looks like the image i posted

also you have mistake on 44827208f158a95c_000000000007924b_ps_source.txt

yours says .txt twice

i think i know why yours works, i renamed rules to rules.txt like yours and that disables the graphic pack, so your only running it native 720p, thats prob why your water looks fine cause your not running it right, same with all the files, you dont need the .txt on the end of them all

Normally I would leave something like this alone but we don't need to perpetuate misinformation. Yeah Legend80 should probably fix that one shader edit that he has. The difference in your folders is that you have "hide extensions for known file types" enabled in windows. So you don't see the .txt on all of your files. They are there though. So when you renamed your "rules" you actually renamed it rules.txt.txt with the second ".txt" hidden by windows. All of my files have ".txt" on the end of it as well just like legend80's. Unless of course I turn of viewing file extensions. I don't have the one .txt.txt that you pointed out though.

That said Are you guys that are having problems absolutely sure you have the graphics packs right?

@SanchezCraft I'm not sure what to tell you then. Clearly you can see in my picture i'm using 4k and the water is not glitched. Have you deleted the precompiled shader for the game since updating to the graphics pack that has it fixed?

Are you sure the graphics pack is actually working, though? Might just be the image compression or whatever, but it doesn't look like 4k at all to me.

Ill try it your way, and let you know.
You have to make sure you get a real first time compile on the shaders. If it goes fast then you need to clear glcache. Or restart your computer since glcache is temporary.

Yes absolutely. Hell the emu even shows you it's working right there in the pic. Of course my shot looks bad it wasn't taken at full screen so downsampling wasn't at an integer multiple and then jpg compression on top of that. When it's full screen it looks great and there is a clear difference between graphics pack enabled and disabled.

EDIT: Well I made sure my graphics packs were up to date and now no more water. Looks just like yours. My graphics packs weren't more than a week or two old. But the water is gone.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.

Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
