Hacking How to update to a particular 3DS firmware?

I'm on 11.2, and need to update to 11.3 (I can't do 11.4 as it stops me from streaming). Does such a way exist, or do I just have to be patient?

You can download the update cias with 3DNUS and install them with sysupdater. You'll have to be a bit clever and work it out for yourself though. Why would you want to be on 11.3 specifically though, I don't think there's any features in 11.3 that aren't there in 11.2?

I use games that are blocked from going online in 11.2 (like pokemon), and I believe you can still use 11.3 online?

If you have a good CFW, just update to 11.4, you'll be fine. If you want to go back to 11.2, just make a NAND backup.

You'd have to use CTR-httpwn in both 11.2 and 11.3 I think. I heard CTR-httpwn stopped working or something though.

I thought there was a way of updating certain parts of 3ds firmware so you can still play online despite it not being fully up to date, a franken firmware i think it's called.

You can ctr transfer to 11.3 with godmode9/decrypt9.Everything else should work on 11.4 but ntr streaming might still be broken.

If you haven't already done so, it is recommended that you follow this guide to install A9LH and CFW. By the end of the guide, you will be on 11.4 with A9LH and CFW.
