No. Don't follow that guide. Too tired to explain yet again why.Pretty sure it's wiiu.guide
If it is about redNAND, it has been removed.No. Don't follow that guide. Too tired to explain yet again why.
It also has several other wrong or just plain dangerous information in it the guide is shockingly bad sorryIf it is about redNAND, it has been removed.
Oh, i'm Felix now.Felix has one in the tut forum
I'm not defending it, it's just that the complaint I saw most was about redNAND. I didn't follow that one for my Wii U but FlimFlam69's.It also has several other wrong or just plain dangerous information in it the guide is shockingly bad sorry
With 3DS, you can get away without explaining anything but in Wii U, you really want to explain most of stuff.I'm not defending it, it's just that the complaint I saw most was about redNAND. I didn't follow that one for my Wii U but FlimFlam69's.
Sorry, I was on my phone and it auto correctedOh, i'm Felix now.
Well, this problem is also one on the 3DS side. There are tons of people out there who think that a9lh is a cfw (I'm talking about the community meaning, as opposed to "entrypoint") and they don't know if they can update safely to 11.4 and they don't know they just need to update Luma and they don't know what Luma is already, they thought they were on a9lh, and they ask for step by step guides to update Luma when it's just copying one file -.-With 3DS, you can get away without explaining anything but in Wii U, you really want to explain most of stuff.
"Oh look, NAND dumping part! But what the hell does MLC, SLC, SLCMTTP, OTP and SEEPROM mean?
Why should i install Haxchi?
Why should i install CBHC, i don't even know what it does!"
And yet people follow it then random guy comes here with "Hey i followed wiiu.guide" and then proceeds to make a full list that "NOTHING WORKS!!!".
If it worked for 3DS, it will not work for Wii U. Simple as that.

It's not just about rednand. That guide doesn't explain anything and just tells you what to do. Also the biggest thing is that it doesn't have a NAND backup section so if you hork your Wii U after using that guide you have no way to reflash the NAND.If it is about redNAND, it has been removed.
Yes, that's what I understood after reading that blog from @Felek666.It's not just about rednand. That guide doesn't explain anything and just tells you what to do. Also the biggest thing is that it doesn't have a NAND backup section so if you hork your Wii U after using that guide you have no way to reflash the NAND.
