Why did you choose this game?
How is this game different from other games in the series and ones it was released with?
Do you think this game is difficult, why or why not?

I've beaten this game over 15 times since it came out in 2004. I can always come back to it and never get bored.
This game is a lot simpler then the newer gens and I like it that way. I would compare this game to apple pie; good yet nostalgia. If you were to compare it to R/S/E than it wins because it has the classic pokemon that I grew up with.
Nope pokemon has always been a bit on the easy side. You can beat the game with one pokemon with a bit of grinding.

Charmander Master Race!!!

A few itemfinder locations -
Where you capture a snorlax using it will get you leftovers.
At the Viridian Gym when Giovanni leaves look there for a macho brace
At the Pokemon Tower where Team Rockets kidnaps Mr.Fuji you can get the soothe bell.

Other tips -

Just have fun and don't worry about messing up your team. The game is not hard. Physics are kinda OP.

Do you ever like to try to tackle the gyms out of order/being severely underleveled?
Which sevi isle is your favorite?
Which change/modernization to RBY was your favorite in the remake?

1. Yeah and it wasn't that hard due to me having type advantages plus knowing their movesets. I've even used cheats to walk through walls and did the gyms in reverse order (a lot of grinding was done that day)
2. 4 due to breading
3. Johto pokemon and game-play balance are always nice.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Why should i play this over Original Red? Always wondered if there was new content other than graphics.

There are many changes this includes -

After the main game you can access the Sevil Island and do a mini quest that will allow you to trade with R/S/E
More pokemon (Hoenn/Johto pokemon @ Sevil Island)
Breeding for baby pokemon
Berries which allow for new battle combinations
You can play as a girl
VS Seeker allows you to re battle trainers
Pokemon move-sets have been updated to include all Gen 3 changes
Pokemon now have natures like other Gen 3 pokemon
Double battles
Johto's legendary beasts (Raikou, Entei, or Suicune) will roam around Kanto

Much more here - http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w...sions#Changes_from_Pok.C3.A9mon_Red_and_Green

I played this game not too long ago, how do you get legendary suicune? :creep:

(Cause i still look for it but can't find it) :ninja:

A. You must have completed the post end game event on the Sevii island
B. You MUST have selected Charmander as your starter

Afterwards just walk around as they are random encounters.

Random? "Ain't nobody got time for that!" O_O

What is the most difficult trade you ever done?

This is a tough one. I needed a jirachi to complete my pokedex at the time. The problem with getting this SOB where the methods available to me at the time.

1. Using Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc price? not much about 40-50 at the time but finding in store was impossible and I didn't have a CC at the time and my parents wouldn't give me theirs.
2. Using Pokémon Channel (Europe and Australia) - Well I'm in the states so that's out.
3. Pro Action Replay - I didn't even know what an emulator was at the time and even if I did I wanted to get it legit.

Basically I was SOL waiting for a few years until I could buy the game disc myself.

Yeah I never realyl did trades with other people unless they were classmates.

Tyranitar...holy F* defense and Sp. Def...this pokemon will not die! Not only that since it has a base attack of 130+ it hits like a truck. If you don't one shot it(I don't see how) it WILL one shot you.
