Nah. I've always had it on 720p. It just seems laggy to me. Especially when you hit the PS button to exit game - noticeable lag.

Exit game option wasn't working in v3.1 on PS button press.

So far, v3.0_fix has worked the best for me.

displays the game list after selecting "memory stick" about 2 seconds faster for me. that as big dip if you ask me, so i'm also gona stick with "v3 fix" for now.

"Divi-Dead" works in the PSP/GAME folder without having to use a plugin (also plays the opening video without crashing if using the video with spanish subs, the english subbed video still crashes) (like in the previous "TNV" psp emulator for older firmware, namely 3.55), so its most likely true for some other games with a lot of text. (prefer "Bilinear" with smoothing ... AA just seems a bit more blurry with smoothing and a bit more jagged without smoothing).

You mean EPSP?

https://gbatemp.net/threads/im-tryna-backup-a-psp-game-to-install-ark-but.467903/#post-7249599

Try the method listed in post 4, it appears to edit the config.txt file in the "tai" folder for adrenaline ... ... ... ... otherwise, EPSP would not work when it installed "BIGHEADSNOOKER" because the games "TITLEID" would not be identified by the config.txt file in the "tai" folder, so I used "POOL HALL PRO", I purchased from psn. You can connect to PSN and buy that once you install henkaku on 3.60 if you need that, its cheap.

(Well, all you need is two small USB Cables, "Female to Male", to connect your USB STICK to your Vita, to avoid the heat issue of having a usb stick plugged directly into the pstv (simple overheating, plus, using any overclocking is probably not good with a hot usbstick plugged directly into the vita) ... its a cheap solution, versus buying a "usb switch". Just unplug the cables that are connected together, and then plug in the cables back together, when the instructions call for it, if you scroll a few pages back)

(Got to lazy and busy to try the ARK auto installer, at the moment, but I will eventually to see if it installs a file manager like the one that came with Ark in the past, "vita ftp" I think, but you know what, "vitashell" can do some things but seems to have less options) (to be continued)

How do I reconfigure the L2 and R2 buttons out of the back touchpad? I get keep hitting this thing by accident, anyway to move it to the touch screen or the right analog stick or something?

Edit: so... Now it's not working anymore, pressing the back doesn't register an input in both the left and in the right side. Did I change it with telepathy? lol

Edit 2: nevermind, I'm an idiot. In case anyone gets to this thread and has the same doubt I did, simply hold the PS Vita button while in the PS1 game. Since once I pressed it I got that exit game message, I assumed holding the button wouldn't bring up the Adrenaline menu. It does.

Here's another game I found that Adrenaline doesn't like. Need for Speed V-Rally - runs at VERY LOW frame rate

Can anyone with an L2/R2 grip for Vita comment on if the physical buttons work well on PSX games?

Ok, cuz I am getting a grip from eBay that doesn't have L3/R3. Do those buttons have a function in Vita or PSX/PSP games?

For ps1 games where you have to push down on the analog sticks to click them, yes.
Vita it depends on the game and psp never had an l2/r2/ l3/r3.
Otherwise a standard l2/r2 grip is fine. I'm assuming you have a model 1000 ps vita, the fat one?

Yes. I can't find the Hori grip you have for less than $100+. For that money, I work rather get a 64gb memory card.

The hori grip doesn't exist for fat ps vita models, only the slim ps vita models. For the fat ps vita models you can get the joetsu l2/r2 grip.

If you do have the slim ps vita then it's on play asia for about $26 to $30 us dollars if you don't mind waiting until they have more in stock

Yea I have a Vita 1000. I don't care for the Slim.

I see what you mean. Just checked amazon and the vita 1000 model l2/r2 grips are going for $90 on up. Outside of joetsu no one is making l2/r2 grips for the vita 1000 model.
I guess the demand for grips for the vita 1000 model just isn't enough compared to the slim/2000 model.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
