Like I said.. I don't want to hack my wii I'm fine with abiding by the one week wait its ounce it reaches 3 weeks then there's a bit of an issue
You can hack your Wii. It's free and easy.

Your Wii's warranty is expired already. There's nothing to lose.

The week wait is there because there are people who cheat on Wiimmfi servers, so the cheaters need to be kept out. Use a dump from your own Wii so that you have your own ID, so that you can avoid the week wait, and you are not sharing an ID with hundreds of other Dolphin players.

Can you people pretend he doesn't have a Wii and just try to help him? He's been told the same thing over and over again but does not want to hack his Wii. Is there a way to generate a unique ID or something without using a Wii?

I'm curious too because I want to help my friend set up Dolphin with Wiimmfi and she's in the same situation.

You can dump a NAND without hacking your Wii. Letterbomb can be used to launch the dumping app and once you remove it from the SD card it's gone, no permanent changes done to the Wii.

I don't get how it's piracy to bypass a custom server's ban by using a unique "login" as opposed to a shared one that gets banned often?
You don't have a Wii, then may I ask how you obtained games for Dolphin? Standard DVD drives can't read those discs, only Wii itself can.

Oh, lol.. Maybe someone sold their Wii but still has all their games? I have a hacked Wii and use it just fine, mind you.

I could use that same question against you. one major reason
it destroys your wii's warranty
and 2 I'm just not the kind of guy that wants to hack stuff
1: What??? There aren't any more valid warranties out there anymore for a Wii.
2: We're fine with that. We aren't pressuring you into hacking your Wii. We're just saying it's easy, faster, and more convenient.
Dude, dump your Wii NAND and use it in Dolphin. It sounds like the system is doing its job to me. Stop trying to skirt around the rules everyone else abides by.
To be honest, it would be easier to use the disc patcher or run a patched ISO on the Wii. Well, to each their own.

LISTEN! I think everyone is on the wrong with whats causing this. One person spoke to a mod about this and it is not a Nand problem. They think its dolphin changing its stupid mac address all the time. Is there anyway to like lock your mac address?

I like it how your much more polite than that one idiot who called me an "ungrateful bastard" because I was complaining about waiting 3 weeks pretty much wich is totally justified considering your only supposed to wait 1 week.
Well seeing as you keep acting really self entitled yeah you're an ungrateful bastard. This isn't the official nintendo network. It's made by a fan for free for other fans. If it has issues for you then tough luck. If you want help making posts with triple quotes and bitching and moaning isn't the way to go.

Also just hack your damn wii. If you even have one. If not then tough luck.

Excuse me but I'm not "bitching and moaning" I'm actually just reporting a problem what is so bad about that? Also the definition of ungrateful doesn't even work there. Of course nobody is going to be grateful if the dam thing never works.

It isn't Dolphin changing it's MAC Address. I don't think it would have one to begin with because it's a freaking emulator.

Works fine for me. You're not really reporting a problem, you're reporting that it doesn't work the way you want it to.

You're welcome to go check out the AltWFC source and run a server yourself.

wth do you mean doesn't work the way I want it to? it just doesn't work.... I'm fine with the one week wait I think you missed the point there. The problem is after I already waited the week it made me wait again. This is my third week.

I can only assume you are NOT trying to use the NAND dump from your console still. It's not intended to work with Dolphin out of the box and you want it to. Just dump your damned NAND and use it. The lack of response from anyone from Wiimmfi should tell you something.

Read this if you haven't.

This is most likely not a Nand issue because the nand issue would be a ban not making you wait weeks over and over again

Are you using the default nand that came with Dolphin? The Wiimmfi Wiki here states that if you want to play online you need to dump your own nand. Since everyone in Dolphin shares the same nand, once that nand got banned in Wiimmfi it meant a ban for everyone who uses that nand. Were you ever able to play online with Dolphin before using your current setup? Because you shouldn't have been able to if you were using the default nand. If you were able to connect then maybe your setup is somehow different. Also, what error code are you getting? In case you haven't done so already, take your error code and put it in here to find out what it means.
