If you are able to boot into luma config then you should be able to inject FBI into the H&S app with either Decrypt9 or Godmode9 (?). be sure to make a back-up of it before injecting fbi.

Can I follow any tutorial for previous versions to install FBI with Health & Safety? I've already stumbled upon some tutorials but they seem outdated.

Sorry for the stupid questions, I literally have no idea what I just got myself into lol.

Weird issue here.

I booted up my N3DS XL as usual, and attempted to play DB Fusions. However, the game crashed on the "Nintendo 3DS" screen.

I didn't really care because, hey, those things happen sometimes. After turning it off, i simply turned it on again and played the game as usual.

About 2 hours later, however, the game froze and i got the "The SD Card has been removed" message, forcing it to reset.

Now whenever i try to turn it on, the blue light turns on for about 2 seconds, but then the DS turns off. Worth noting that there isn't a clicking sound, it simply shuts down.

Does anyone know what could be the issue?

It seems your 3ds is unable to read the sd card. Try taking it out and putting back in. If it doesn't work, test with other devices.

Is anyone able to put me in the right direction to install themes? I see something called chmm2 is suggested. How to I go about getting this? Is there a tutorial around?

Decided to do a back up of my data just in case, my computer was able to read the card just fine.

Afterwards i inserted the SD card back in and everything is working as usual, but it is hard to say if that will last or not.

It was probably an issue with the 3DS itself, do you think this could mean it's SD reader was damaged in some way, or was do you feel it being an one-time thing is more likely?

I don't know. Never had problems like that myself.

Alright, so I dumped the ticket update for MHXX on my Japanese 3ds and I tried to install it on my English 3ds and I get an error from FBI:
result code: 0xd80806b
Summary: invalid argument (7)
Module: AM (32)
Description: error type -7 (107)

Was there something else I needed to do to the ticket first?

Hey I've been out of the loop for a while now and was curious if it was safe to update from 11.2 to 11.3, I did my hack last November with a9lh and luma. I've tried looking for some guides for this but a lot of the threads are now around ~70 pages and have gotten off topic and it was hard for me find the answer.

Make sure you have Luma 6.6 or newer. Then it's safe to update.

no just the chmm2.cia. copy it to wherever you would any .cia and install it
you put the themes you get from http://3dsthem.es in the theme folder
change default theme at least once
run chmm2 and select the theme

Do I place the theme .zip file in /theme or do I just cherry pick certain files?

You don't install cia. You download the zip and extract the 3ds folder to the root of your sd. Then you get SoundHax setup and launch JKSM through HBL
