Where did you get the credit card-sized adhesives from? Thanks in advance.I had to edit the image to fit a credit-card sized NFC card, but it looks awesome:
Inkjet PVC card, printed in a card tray and then sealed with a clear credit card-sized adhesive for protection.
Tempted to get Canon Ip7250, seems to be only model can find but reviews arent great; noisy, long startup times and ink waster.
Question is will the pvc cards absorb the inks or not?
This line of Canon's have a quiet mode setting but I don't know what it does to do that as I've never used it. I haven't got the cards yet but I'll post results when I do.

This is the second time I have used them for personal projects and they are a great company.
I will be ordering more cards from them with my own designs.
I would like to thank everyone that has contributed to this thread as I used your work for my cards (before I started making my own)

What kind of customizations did you pick? Size, card or plastic... etc. how much did it end up costing?
I printed some at staples but didn't end up liking the stiffness of the cards in the end. They seemed too mushy and they didn't offer any other glossy card stock.
They are poker size, promo quality (270 grams), not plastic, 90 cards. I added a bleed area to the cards I downloaded. All my cards that I am making I have the bleed area in my original files, the ones I post don't have it.
I paid $40.78 Canadian and that included faster shipping from UBI. These feel about the same stiffness of a regular Pokemon card, and after they are glued together they will be a little stiffer.
They looked pretty cool. this and the nfc tags stickers are perfect. awesome idea
I assume you did custom front and back and just left one side blank. Instead of picking something specific. And ya I put 0.5 cm bleeds on all my cards so that isn't an issue for me. I'll look at getting some tonight. How long did shipping take?
That is right, they will email you about the one side being blank before they print your cards. I ordered them on March 8th and they got here today. I'm in Ontario, they landed in Vancouver first, so if your out West they should arrive quicker.

Are you laminating them?
Anyone care to take a picture of a real one and post it, I got my cards, but haven't printed anything yet.

If you bought pvc cards and they weren't the inkjet printable kind then you are stuck printing onto labels. Or like me, buying a 1500$ printer and use thermal printing
made an account to say thanks. I am printing to blank PVC cards using a spare ID Maker printer from work. They came out okay, need to mess around with the colors. Here's the first few prints I did. Once I receive my NFC tags, I'll be sticking them to these cards.
It would advertise that specifically. If it didnt say that it is inkjet printable than its safe to say it isnt.
While you are printing can you also keep an eye out for how much ink is being used. I know it won't be exact but I just know that photo paper sucks up a lot of ink so I would wonder how much the cards suck up.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
