I have mame2003.hmod (works ok in 2.14), is it compatible with this new version or does it require an update? Thanks a lot as always
I just updated RetroArch and the SNES2010 core. Didn't update mame2003 and works fine without update in 2.15

Good stuff. I'm gunna keep pushing the MAME2003_mini core because it seems like the best core for Arcade/NeoGeo. It's been rock solid for me, playing Metal Slug 1 & 2 w blood, several others as well.. I have turtles 2-player along w sunset riders 2-player.

Guys give David Skywalker's MAME2003_mini core a shot, can't recommend it enough. I also have the full spreadsheet of supported MAME2003_mini
games w filesname, full game name, parent rom (if needed), bios, revision, date of production, & manufacturer. IF ANYONE NEEDS IT JUST PM ME! :grog:

Hi. Two games I miss from the supported list: totcarn.zip and timekill.zip. Both work under mame2003 - but no chance for mame2003_mini?

Thanks for the suggestion. That would mean I don´t need mame2003_mini AT ALL. But I need it for the space I save compared to mame2003. ;)
Coz when it´s full, it´s full. And it is pretty stuffed.

This new build seems to be running great. Played a load of big mame games and other systems in a row and no memory crashes. :)

I heard we're still supposed to limit the games to 30/40 games per folder. Is there any size limit to the folders themselves (I read that's no longer an issue)?

For example) If I have 20 SNES games in a folder (with 4 save state slots) and the size of that folder is 90MB, is that now OK?

When you add MAME2003 & MAME2003_mini (at the same time) do you setup 1 .hmod BIOS file (with both BIOS files in the system folder) or do you have 2 .hmod BIOS files you install to Hakchi?
Thats actually what I was having problems with. I don't use bios hmod now. I had bios mod with 1.5mb with fba strictly for metal slug x and it worked. Decided to try mame mini and made another bios hmod with smaller neo geo bios in it for mame mini and then it worked but fba stopped reading the other bios when I tried to go back to it and I couldn't get it too work again so I really don't know. I gave up on the bios hmod. Uninstalled then Will only use it for samples. I now combo zip the game and bios then upload and it's working better. You could make a folder inside bios hmod to put other bios to see if it works. I didn't do that. It wanted to overwrite the other bios in the same folder obviously.
