My last questions here, I hope:

1) Can I move the content of this SD card to another with far more free space to keep using the firmware?
2) I tried to install CFW NTR, but it keeps saying that the firmware is not supported. I'm using the more recent version as far as I know (downloaded from https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR/releases). What should I do?

1) If you have a9lh, you can move your stuff to a new SD card. Any cards 64GB+ will need to be formatted to FAT32.
2) Use BootNTR Selector instead.

How? Just copying doesn't work. Also, I have some games and saves in this new SD card which I don't want to lose.

You won't lose them if you move your contents to that card. You'll have two folders in your Nintendo 3DS folder (I assume that you only have one folder and didn't previously have an emuNAND). One that belongs to the current card (with the games and saves you don't want to lose) and your current files. If you're that paranoid, backup your save files with JKSM, reinstall your games after you transfer your contents, then reinject the save files with JKSM (this is for the games and saves you don't want to lose).

Also, how did just copying it over not work? :/

Next question, I have another 2ds that my son has. He has started playing pokemon moon and has a fair few hours of saved data on this game. I want to hack his now. Is there any way of saving his saved game data and then reinstalling it after it has been hacked??

You don't lose save data when hacking
You can also use jksm or svdt to backup save data through homebrew launcher, if you want to be very safe.

FBI does not display the option for installing some .cia files. BootNTR and all the games I downloaded. It only shows delete, copy, rename etc.

a9lh is a cfw/homebrew entrypoint that boots before system firmware, so you can boot cfw within milliseconds of powering on the console. also being able to boot cfw/homebrews before system firmware allows you to restore your system (if bricked and have a nand backup) without a hardmod. having a safety net like that coupled with a9lh's native firm protection (keeps itself from being overridden during an update) there is no more need for emunand giving you back nearly 2 gigs of space.

That sounds good to me. So one last question then because, after being not so lazy and looking around, I didn't find a definitive answer. I plan on just formatting my SD and starting from scratch, but how do I restore the MSET, or do I even need to? Also since I mentioned it and I'm here is it advisable to start from scratch using https://3ds.guide ?

nope. . . i had mset installed and a downgraded twlfirm and everything went smoothly but you are correct it is still advised to start fresh . . . i just whipped out a new sd card and used that

I've managed to use freeshop. I backed up my copy of terraria. When I went to launch it said I needed to update it through eshop? Is this ok??

My SD card is with error, apparently. It was getting an error in every game I play like I said some pages ago. Since then I'm trying to copy everything, format and then run h2testw to thoroughly look for errors, but it gets stuck in some files aand I cannot copy everything. So I ask what should I copy no matter what to make it work. I don't care about saves and everything, apparently I will lose everything anyway, I just want to know what Luma3DS + arm9loader needs to run initially. I plan to format everything, look for errors, buy a new SD card if necessary and then restart from zero.

You only need arm9loaderhax.bin, but if you copied it to CTR NAND then you don't even need that. Anything you need you can redownload anyway. You probably just want you Nintendo 3DS folder for your installed games and saves.

I'm not finding a way to install FBI and then start from there, how can I do that now? I tried to use GodMode and follow again the steps on the guide to inject FBI, but it is not working...

You need to say what guide you're following, what situation your console is in, and exactly what you're doing and what it is doing that isn't what you thought it should be doing. Nobody can help you if you just say "it's not working".

I was able to copy all the files I had before except the Nintendo 3DS folder and then I lost the games and FBI, as expected.

I'm using https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax
From section V onward, I used this guide to install Luma3DS and arm9loader in the past. I downloaded everything necessary to inject FBI, substituting Health & Safety. GodMode says the injection is successful, but H&S doesn't appear, before or after the injection.

I'm not sure, but IIRC I used Hourglass to do this injection at the first time, but this part is missing in the tutorial now. Maybe it was modified.

Is your console updated to 11.3? The file in the guide won't work otherwise. If it's not updated, you can use Universal Inject Generator to make your own file.
And are you definitely selecting the FBI injectible app not hs.app?

Before injecting H&S, you can use the selector to choose what file you want to inject. If H&S is on your SD you should be able to select it. With me it was default FBI injector, which I changed to H&S right before choosing to inject. Maybe you injected FBI for the second time accidently?
