Looks like a shitty flash game ported to consoles.
Still, i will buy it. You never know until you experience it yourself.
No pressure to buy something that doesn't seem appealing to you. I decided a long time ago that'd I'd buy pretty much every roguelike released on PC, now that's extending to Switch as well. They're rarely expensive and I've enjoyed even the ones with bad reviews like Death Skid Marks.

it's a waste of time, for idiots. obviously legos are better for building and stuff because it's phsical and works on visual/spatial skills for children. but minecraft is a 3d game on a 2d screen...not the same nor does it feel the same.

Let's see...should we play virtual pool on a computer or console, or should we just play REAL pool?

Should we play virtual pinball on a computer, or REAL pinball?

Should we build something in minecraft, or build something REAL with legos?

Some concepts are silly in videogame form, because they're much better done in the real world. Videogames should be for the things that we will never do in real life, fantasy, or dangerous things we'd never try.

Plus the grafx look worse than wolfenstein 3d original. I don't need to play that kinda nonsense.
The problem is that Legos and Minecraft are not differentiated by one being virtual and one being real. Although even if we were taking that route, with Minecraft you just have to buy the game and you can get all the blocks you need to build your vision in build mode. With Legos, you can dump some serious money on getting all the bricks and specialty pieces you need.

Minecraft allows for exploration of the unknown and building within its world. Constructing a base to fit a cavern is different from building a building from nothingness that exists on its own. Speaking of which, there is a whole adventure aspect to minecraft which is not present in lego, and you can construct your buildings and such around the utility of supporting this adventurous gameplay. Building minecart tracks to take you from point A to point B; perhaps having it take a scenic route. There's a whole lot people can get out of Minecraft that is not present in Lego.

Also the rest of your argument is silly, regardless. Video games don't have to be restricted to things we don't do in the real world. All that's really important is that people find a sense of entertainment out of them. I love playing real pinball, but filling up my living space with pinball machines is infeasible from both a spacial and costly point of view, while a virtual pinball game can be quite entertaining and be played on my computer that I already have. Similar with pool: I don't have the space for a pool table. Also, virtual pool allows one to practice working with angles very easily without worrying about technique, which can be later added.

Going beyond your examples, I love to go out and play Ice Hockey. But I also enjoy a nice virtual Ice Hockey game from the comfort of my living room. They are different experiences, both of which deserve to exist.

Yup, you are that guy. Also video games, Minecraft included build visual, communication, and problem solving skills. Working together to build something in multiplayer. You do sound like an old fart. Minecraft and legos have little overlap tbh. They're different experiences. Minecraft can be used to build virtual switching circuits. You can't do that with legos. I can make a working passcode protected door. Stop being a closed minded idiot.

To add to this? You get to express more of your creative freedoms in minecraft compared to Legos.

I stand corrected. I've become a fan and must admit that Minecraft is very useful...as an idiot detector.

People gets really obsessed with pixel perfection, and forget about being artistic.

Ah, another Temper who thinks the world revolves around him and that anything he doesn't like is objectively bad. Time to flush this lifeless goldfish down the toilet and into the sewer of ignoring.

Glad I ignored the reviews on this one, Has-Been Heroes is really good! There are a billion unlockables (playable heroes, items, spells, enemies). It is hard as nails even for a roguelike though, haven't managed to clear the first level yet. I can see why reviewers would whine about that. The game plays as fast or as slow as you want it to, as it uses a tactical pause system. Timing and combo attacks are key, as you need to avoid damage to heroes on cooldown.

So it's difficult? Hm.

Even thought people start to talk about other stuff ;P
I don't see the issue here what exactly is so bad about this game !?
Just because of one Video ?
Why are people always so fast to dismiss something without even getting proper information and without even giving a real reason ?
Well except that some people "personally" don't like this type of games i only saw some saying it "looks" like Smartphone game.

PS: I actually bought the game on Steam and its quiet fun imo ;)

Yeah once you're familiar with it it's pretty easy to keep from taking any hits, but it only takes roughly two hits from enemies to kill a hero (depending on items and which hero), so that's a must. Also you lose and have to start over if just one hero dies. Makes sense because you'd quickly be overrun anyway when covering only two lanes.

I've made it to the first level boss(es) a couple times now, but the best I've done so far is get him to 25% health before losing.
