Hacking [Release]BootNTR Selector

Version 3.2 works great, but version 3.3 and 3.4 doesn´t load the Plugins D: I have install the Multi ACNL Plugin and i need 3.3 to start this Plugin, but no Plugin works for me by 3.3. Any Help please ^

PS: Sry for the bad Englisch im german

NTR streaming only works with 3.4 and a n3DS (with the C-Stick). It WILL NOT work on 3.2 or 3.3. It will only work with 3.4. There is no other option.

Please stop spamming this thread for that.

This bugs is not something that can be easily fixed, else it would have already be done.

It's a free software which the only downside is that you need to reboot your console when you want to change of application.

If you're not happy with this free solution, you can buy a Gateway which don't have this issue, there's no problem with that.
But don't harass people to fix your issues - at least not on my thread -, thanks.

I see, however I'm not sure which file you're talking about (NTR.bin on the root?). Nor am I sure what values I should be changing. It also won't change the UI to reflect the hotkey change, I assume?

Change the 00C00000 value, it's the hotkey value.

And indeed, changing this won't change the displayed hotkeys, and even more, changing the hotkeys inside the NTR's menu will make unable to use your custom hotkey until you reboot NTR since you'll override your changes.

You need to change the file you want to use with( example for the 3.3 change ntr_3_3.bin in sd:/3DS/NTR/).

I would've liked L+R+Start+Dpad Down. I don't know if 4 keys are possible.

Also I like Start+Select as screenshot, and don't wish for that to change (and perhaps even be default, if possible).

I dunno which banner thingy to get with my QR code scanner. I'm actually just trying to play MHXX and I supposedly need this. Do I just choose one of these QR codes to scan, install whatever comes from and start it up, followed by the game? Worried it'll mess up my CFW

If you have an o3DS, scan either one of the Mode 3 CIA QR codes because I believe MHXX uses extended memory mode and Mode 3 helps with that. If you have a n3DS, do not install either of the Mode 3 CIAs. It does not matter which version of the banner you install. They both do the same thing, the only difference is the banner you see on the Home Menu.

I have a idea, why don't you guys take out the Reduce blue light, backlight, Cpu clock and Real time save options and just add the video streaming for version 3.5 to see if that will fix the game changing softlock bug

That's not how it works.
Besides, as stated to you six times in three separate other threads, NTR CFW is closed source. We don't have the capability to alter its core functions.

The original developer of NTR CFW is already aware of this, however it's not as simple as flipping a single switch in the code that solves all of the bugs, which is why it hasn't been fixed yet. This could take some time, so you'll need to be patient. Spamming the same question multiple times across multiple threads will not make the process any faster or easier.

If you really cannot wait, then I suggest you purchase a hardware capture card. This is the only other method to output video, and is not affected by the game-switching issue.

I attach a zip with the modified ntr.bin with LRStartDown to open the menu as default hotkey.
Those are only valid for default settings so if you've chosen another settings, first change your settings before changing the binaries.
Also, 3.4 is only valid for New3DS, if you use an old3DS(if you use Mode3 with this one, it'll crash), send me your 3.4 version so I can change it.

Thank god you're here, nobody thought about that ! How someone like Cell9 could have missed this, it's so obvious that it's the solution !!!

No seriously, you can see that in the 3.2/3.3 there's the same bug even though there's no Blue Light reducer nor Streaming feature.

Get a capture card or bear with it but stop about this, at least on this thread thanks.

No. FOR THE LAST TIME, QUIT ASKING FOR FEATURES. NTR IS CLOSED SOURCE. WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING. NTR STREAMING ONLY WORKS WITH 3.4. EITHER LIKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

I'm sorry ~~not sorry~~ for the caps but please get it into your thick skull. You have been told several times by several people that what you're asking for is IMPOSSIBLE. So please QUIT ASKING.

Note that this is not really true.

Also, the streaming feature is one of the features that requires a lot of memory (for processing frame then sending it), so using the 3.2 as a base wouldn't do anything good.

Note that I'm not saying that your request for this bug to be solved is unreasonable or something, I actually get that it can be annoying.
But for the time being there's no fix and it might never be one.
In the eventuality that a fix comes, this app will obviously be updated to support it.

However for now, buy a capture card.

Now, consider this my last answer on this topic and I invite others members to follow me in ignoring him, eventually he'll get tired and if he spams too much I'll be able to report his posts.

Thank you very much, works fine. I have an N3DS so no need for mode3. If there's ever an update to NTR 3.4 I'll need to modify those hotkeys again, correct?
