Anyone working on a code to disable random yiga spawns?

Lol, that'd waste probably a weeks worth of searching for 5 seconds worth of annoyance.

i think it would be more cool to make some sort of code to control the random prizes that appear in the chests at the gamblers place in Lurelin village. but even this seems like not too much fun to start trying to figure out

You know the 4 different colored reference points your allowed to put on the map? Well, I think they show on the world map too when you open it. What would be cool is if there was a way to add the ability to go to them just like a shrine that has been visited. That's not really a request unless, just a thought.

Personally, all the work that people have put into PandaOnSmacks trainer is amazing, and is overkill already.

Oh!! A code to make the game a negative image! That would rock

do you mean Teleport to the Pin locations as if it were a fast travel? or just change links coordinates to the pin coordinates?

Ur one shot kill. What does it do? You can change the amount of damage a bow can do for one shot kill already. However if you add an ability to it shoot five arrows or whatever. It will not be a one shot kill. Will not beable to test this until Thursday or Friday morning.

Edit: format was messed up when posting the message from my phone.

It changes your damage multiplier to 10,000. So even a regular unmodded Korok leaf will do 10,000x1 damage, thus killing anything in the game

How did you find this? Feel like you need a breakpoint to know this value is being used in a function as it doesn't seem to chnage

407B4CA4 == Current Weather (NTSC-US)

weather
=========
01030002 = cloudy
03010002 = dark rainy (also 02000002)
00010002 = sunny
07000007 = lightning and rain (also 07010000)
05000007 = fog and snow

in my experiments it seems the first byte is the type of weather, the second byte may be to do with the cloudiness, unsure about what the 3rd byte does, and as well as the last byte. i thought the last byte had something to do with the severity of the current weather, ie more rain or less rain. but i cant prove this theory.. so lemme know what you guys find.

it also seems you can not create weather that isnt possible in certain areas. ie lightning in Kakariko. but if you set it to create lightning, you'll see the skybox change to show there should be lightning but no lightning strikes will happen if its not permitted in that area.

Did you manage to investigate this anymore?

Very simple. It's the multiplier that's applied when you put on the barbarian armour or eat an attack up based food. I found all the bonuses and am going to post them all later today. I'm also going to make a code that gives you cold resistance heat resistance and flame guard all in one. I also found the Hastiness modifier, but I didn't have enough time to test it much. But it might be a good replacement to the old speed mod since it applies to climbing too

And in regards to my weather "code." I haven't really looked into it at all since I made my lightning spawning code. This weather address is great for creating and removing rain on command, but it can not generate any other weather effects besides rain. When it comes to lightning or snow, this is merely a skybox editor pretty much. In the case of lightning, you'll hear thunder and see flashes of fake lightning in the clouds but no lightning will spawn. But it could be used in combination with my lightning storm code if desired.

And I honestly forget whether the cloudy value works or not, and also the fog. I'll probably have to check tomorrow.

I have so many things Ive been trying to find lol. Including the strangely elusive Horse whips, I've scanned the entire game multiple times for floats and 8bit values equal to the amount of whips but everything is either a display only value or just unrelated. I feel like it might be expressed as a stupid number, similar to how my "perfect stealth" code was, where your sound was a float value between 0-1 but then jumps to 4 when you start sprinting

But I'm most happy that I found a code to make amiibos able to be used infinitely, even though that was 1000000 easier than the horse whips is proving to be lol

Teleport to the pin locations. You can change them if you want and set them wherever you want in the game, so they would make awesome teleport beacons.

Hmmmm. It could be possible depending on how the game stores the locations of fast travel locations. If you fast travel to a shrine or something, and the game momentarily loads it's coordinates somewhere into RAM, then it would be easy to overwrite those coordinates with the coordinates of your pin location. But if the fast travel locations are hard coded onto the disk itself, then it wouldn't be possible, at least that I could think of.

That would make things so interesting, for example: Say Dark/FD link on rito village/Death mountain/Desert * without * having to (worry/find/use) (potions/foods/clothes).

If the "randomizer" uses the same system as most other random number generators, then it takes the either the current time, or Epoch time and puts it through a prime number based algorithm to produce another random number. But basically if you find the "seed" in this case, potentially the current time, or whatever number is being placed into the generator, you could effectively cause the randomness to always produce the same result and it would make it easier to find the yiga spawning addresses. In the case of the treasure chest game, just making the random number generator generate the same number everytime would be enough to basically hack that game. But I'm sure it's possible to find the contents of the chests somewhere in ram too and change it there, or just peek at it to see which chest holds the prize.

Either way these are both pointless, but are just something that's fun to challenge yourself with

I believe you have made a teleport code already, so what I was thinking was to find where the game stores those 4 colored markers you can place anywhere and have them give your teleport code its ( X / Y / Z ) location based on what buttons are pressed.

Example : Have ( Blue ) tied with the ( TV + LZ ) buttons. Have ( Red ) tied with the ( TV + L ), so when you press that combination of buttons you would be teleported to the blue, or red markers respectively.

Are " button " codes still called " joker command "? Sorry, it has been so long since I have done this sort of thing and I'm really trying to get back into it, but I have a family and I'm going to be a daddy that is there for his girl. Besides, every time I start trying to find something she crawls to the Wii U and pushes the power button :wub:

ohhh yes. this wouldnt be too difficult to make, the only issue is if you teleport too far away then the game will crash. the game already doesnt really like you teleporting too far away, but i can try and take a look for the Pin coordinates

I haven't had it crash on me ever.. Well, I only teleported it once, and it was from the other side of Hyrule to the Temple of Time. I wonder if all the items on the map actually have a teleport option that is hidden. You know, how debug menus used to be hidden in games.

BTW, Thanks a bunch for looking into this for me. It will be nice not having to manually enter X / Y / Z .
