Hi so I'm using wiiflow and I'm able to play Mario Kart Wii and (recently) Xenoblade Chronicles without any problems but now Xenoblade doesn't work. I can still play MKW but whenever I open XC I get past the loading bar but after that it's just a black screen not progressing any further. I already spent aroung 5 hours a few weeks ago on XC and I don't know why it stopped working.

How good are those generic wiimotes with built in motion plus and nunchuck controllers that are being sold on eBay for like $20. Is it worth picking up or am I better shelling out $30 - $50 for an official wiimote and nunchuck?

The knock-offs can be good, or they can be terrible - it's a risk.

If you can afford it, the official remotes are a lot more consistent in terms of quality.

How do i download and put Gamecube games on my Wii (USB Loader GX) Also do I need A Gamecube Controller and Memory Card?

Downloads for copyrighted games (pretty much all Nintendo games) are not allowed here on GBAtemp. You can rip them with a tool such as your USB loader, or just find some pirated games. If you use Nintendont (GC emulator) or Devolution, you don't need either.

Hi I've got my wii updated with ModMii, my HDD is currently NTFS so I used a spare and tried ModMII's Neek setup as I'd like to run USA region so Virtual Console games run at 60hz as my Wii is PAL otherwise they'd run 50hz (great nintendo move there!) which is not how I remember them as I imported a USA Snes ;-), I'd also like to try the 240p output modes :-)

I have had a degree of success, run hbc, then run priloadergui then press the button and select neek2O....

What's the best way to make this easier to use when I want to run VC, inside my emulated nand I see a neek2O app which reboots me back to my real nand, is there a way to install that so I can do the opposite or even better a way to get wiiflow to do so ?

I've updated WiiFlow and it's available in both my real and USA emu nand.

My task after that is to grab some spare space on my PC and convert my NTFS back to FAT32, I originally had wbfs and went NTFS - a long while ago lol

Thanks in advance

Having a terrible time here in desperate need of some help, I hacked my wii ages ago and It's been off for like nearly a year now,

I started her up and, for some reason she wouldn't load up my hard drive and usb using wiiflow or USB loader GX anymore :(

https://gbatemp.net/threads/setmiiup-from-stock-to-latest-softmod-in-less-then-5-10-minutes.459416/

so used this easy tool for updating, to make sure everything was legit after I did that I reinstalled wiiflow and USBloader GX (forwarders) but now its not even opening those apps, at lease before the apps were opening just not loading the HDD and now its all broke :/ damn how do I fix this ?

well I managed to get USB loader and wii flow working now.

My next problem is playing NTSC N64 VC games on a Pal system ?
can I just install the wads or do I risk a brick ? do i need to create an emu nand ?
There is so much information that points to the same thing I just cant get my head around it !

How come my Wii backups work on Wiiflow but not USB Loader GX? I just get booted back to the home menu or the homebrew channel depending where I opened it.

Can I make my Wii boot straight to USB Loader (and posibly... if found on flash drive, else boot HBC).

Priiloader can do that. You just need a .dol version of the forwarder for the loader you're using. Using the actual dol for your loader isn't a good idea because it's difficult to update the loader later.
