Reggie Fils-Aime claims that Nintendo will have a "big" E3 this year

In a video interview with Fox News, Nintendo of America's CEO, Reggie Fils-Aime spoke about how Nintendo is innovating the game market, with the Switch, and recently released Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. "I think anyone who says they know where this industry is going is really not knowledgeable about the industry, given that at its heart, it's all about innovation and creativity," said Fils-Aime. At the end of the video, Reggie claims that Nintendo will "have a big E3 this year." and that they will be "showcasing a variety of games, as well as having surprises planned" for the event. Lastly, he says that E3 will be a major opportunity to show what Nintendo has in store for not only the Switch, but for the 3DS as well.

I think level five have abbandoned the idea and to be honest they never announced this thing at the E3. Maybe announce Inazuma Eleven ARES for Swithc or 3DS, i prefer for Switch so i have a reason to buy the console, is possible but Inazuma Eleven was never that big outside of Japan for have a spotlight on the E3. Also the Ares series is supposed to come out this summer, correct me if im wrong, so why there is no an announce for what console is this game for.

Nintendo knows this year's E3 is going to make or break the Switch's momentum in hardware sales since the Scorpio is due for release at the end of this year (Microsoft is big in the west) and Sony already has a firm grasp in the market share for both the west and the east.

My guess for Nintendo's E3 2017 showcase for the Switch:

Metroid - Announcement and trailer for 2018 (nothing bigger than Metroid besides Zelda to push hardware sales in the west)
Pokemon - Announcement and trailer for 2018
Super Mario RPG - Announcement and trailer for 2018
F-Zero - Announcement and trailer for 2018 (fan service for western audiences)
New IP with motion controls - Announcement and trailer for 2018
Super Smash Bros. Deluxe? - Coming in 2018 and playable on the floor
Bayonetta Series Port? - Coming 2018 and playable on the floor
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Coming to the west in 2018 and playable on the floor
Super Mario Odyssey - Playable on the floor

Just watched the video, the way he said "but also content coming to the 3DS" he had some thoughts in that phrase like as if he knows the 3DS is going to be killed off very soon or this is the last E3 for big 1st party games coming to the 3DS until the end of 2018 (probably projects they've been working on for the 3DS just in the case the Switch does not take off in sales).
