So as many know GTA V on PS4 1.76 has been getting messed around a lot with by developers BadChoicesZ and Kurt with their programs. It seems today we finally get a good taste at PS4 GTA V mod menu. Before they have shown us mods with GTA V, but nothing like this!

2much4u created this very first working mod menu. Again this only works on 1.76.

2Much4u Stated this:
" This is a simple mod menu I created for GTAV on the PS4. Because of the nature of the exploits used to allow this, it is only possible to use on the PS4 firmware 1.76. Because It is on a lower PS4 firmware, it is IMPOSSIBLE to use online. To anybody concerned, you have no reason to worry about GTA Online being ruined on PS4 anytime soon. I am also not going to be releasing this, at least not anytime in the near future."

It seems you cannot download this so you will have to wait unfortunately. Hopefully developers start to mess with more mods in the future! :)

Can't wait to report on the next mod story for GTA V and/or other games! :)

I'm still trying to figure out how it's possible to play GTA V on 1.76 firmware?

According to the GTA V wikipedia, the game was released for PS4 on 18 November 2014.

However, the ps4devwiki states that firmware 2.00 was released on 24 October 2014.

Logic would dictate that GTA V has a minimum required firmware of 2.00 (I've never tried to run GTA V on my 1.76 console)

Does GTA V work on 1.76 or is there another factor at play here?

This is an interesting point, all I can chime in with is that I have a PS4 on 1.76fw but I made the exception of buying the US copy of GTA V, I do this from time to time now that with this latest wave of consoles are no longer any region lockouts in force (I feel we are finally liberated Gamers) so to get back to the point I wanted to make, US version of GTA runs on 1.76fw, not sure how much lower fw you can be on to still run it okay and not sure the minimum fw the EU version requires but if ur on 1.76fw, US copy's of GTA V seem to be a good bet.
