Hacking PS3 Slim (CECH-20XX) OFW 4.81. Easiest way to play downloaded PSN games w/o license?

Hi all,

I'm giving my old PS3 slim to a buddy and have a load of games on there that I've been accumulating through PSN+. Unfortunately after deleting my account off the system, they no longer run on the guest account I created for him to use. I get the message "Please login to the PSN store to renew the license" or something along those lines.

I know the console is hackable because of the serial, but what's the simplest way to get the games already on the hard drive up and running for him? Preferably without having to purchase a flasher. I'd like to renew the licenses and have them be permanently activated on the console even without my account info. Is that possible?

You can't. Either you give your account to your friend or use a flasher to downgrade it to 3.55 to install a CFW on it.

Just activate the license from your account to that ps3,keep your account on the console but change your password to keep it private.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to do it by logging in and not saving my password details, then forcing all my devices to deactivate from the sony account management website. As long as he never somehow guesses my password and logs into my account, the licenses are all good for any user on the console.
