Hey okay ok the saves are working now, but only on my regluar wii, which is fine but how do I get the wii u pro controller to work on the regular wii? Do I sync it in the nindont app itself or what?

Sync it from the system menu. It will turn off as soon as the pairing is complete but will work once Nintendont is running.

@scottc Did you check the MD5 hash of the disc?

Hello. Haven't updated in a while and was wondering if there is now support for the WiiU Nyko Pro Commander controller.
I couldn't find it on the list and it never worked quite well for me before.
Any help is appreciated.

As long as folder names match both homebrew, they will work just fine.

Hi, thanks for replying! I've just checked the .iso using the GCVerify tool and it says "Redump: Found". I assume that means it's fine?

Thanks. Well I guess that rules out a problem with the .iso. Do you have any idea what else could be causing this? Are the two issues I mentioned likely to be linked?

Is there a chance it might be an issue with the HDD? I'm wondering if there's anything else I can try before buying a new one.

Well for some reason Nintendon't now crashes the vWii when I try to load a game it searches for a disc then boots me back the Wii U menu
redownload nintendont boot dol maybe it got cirrupted somehow i guessm also if you are using usb on vwii remenber to sue y cables or an hdd with its own power supply.

Game : The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition (specifically Ocarina of Time)
Describe Issue : Hi there. I'd really appreciate your help. I'm having two issues - I'm not sure if they're related. Firstly, the game will occasionally freeze/crash to a black screen when loading a new area/dungeon. The only way of resolving it is to switch the Wii off using the power button on the machine. R+Z+B+down does nothing. The second issue is the game sometimes doesn't save properly. For example, I was about to enter a boss room, so I saved my game before I entered (in case I got the black screen problem). The game did crash, meaning I had to switch the machine off and back on again. But when I loaded the game up again, it took me to where I was around 3-4 saves previously.
Region : PAL
Wii/Wii U : Wii (original white model)
Nintendont revision : v4.436
Last known working revision (if any) :
Loader used (if any) with revision no. : USB Loader GX (Rev1262)
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD : USB HDD
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD make, model, size, format & cluster size : Sony Vaio, 80GB (with 35GB free), FAT32, 32Kb
ISO 1:1/compressed : ISO 1:1
McEmu/Real Mem card and size : McEmu, 251 blocks, Memcard Multi off
Native on/off : Off
Controller used if Native off : Official GameCube controller
Composite/Component/HDMI: HDMI (using Wii2HDMI converter)
Anything else you want to explain: I hope this is all the info you need. Please let me know if you need to know anything more.

Cheers
take a picture of your nintendont settings but i have a felling you have something like log and osreport set to on or width or some other forced setting that this game doesnt like.

Here's a pic of my Nintendont settings.

One thing I haven't mentioned is that my .iso is US/NTSC, while my Wii is UK/PAL. Does that matter at all?

Like I said, the game works fine 90% of the time. It just crashes sometimes when loading a new area/room/dungeon. Which wasn't a massive problem, until the saving became unreliable.

region has no affect whatsoever, i see no setting that can cause issues so i only have 2 advices

1-maybe redownload nintendont bot.dol maybe it somehow corrupted.
2-your usb/sd device sometimes fails to match up with the calls at the needed speed and crashes.

Cool, thanks. I've just re-downloaded and replaced the boot.dol file on the SD. And I'm in the process of replacing the HDD (just waiting for it to re-format to FAT32). The current one is pretty old, so I guess you're probably right about that being the issue.

I'll let you know how I get on. Though the issue's intermittent, so it might not reveal itself straight away. I'll live with it for a few days before reporting back.

Thanks again for your help so far.

well issues that cant be trigered consistenly are very hard to fix unfortunely, specialy when it cant be recreated.

Don't alter original game disc images. Just leave them as full 1:1 and make sure the MD5 hashes for them are good. There is no need for any utilities. Just put them in "/games/game title [TitleID]/game.iso"
