I think there are plenty of people on this forum who enjoyed the legend of zelda botw (or still enjoying :P )
so I am a little bit curious what you guys thinked of this game and maybe know things other didn't know about the game so I tought maybe it would be fun to make a thread about it.

my opinion:

- awesome map

-gameplay

-voiceacting

-JUMP BUTTON O:

-and a nice story

also I think this is the best zelda I ever played myself
(tough I wished I had it on a switch but thanks to the people who helped me out at the leak I got it early on the wii u so I'm glad I can play it)

I would like to wish the readers a nice day (; .

(ps: I know there are already a few threads about zelda but I wanted to make a thread myself too)
(if this isn't allowed please remove it ).

You can use an amiibo on a pirated game. I have an european copy running on my NA console (because I didn't use usb helper for it at first)...

Personally, I love the characterization of Zelda in this one. She's not noble, but she acts like a bratty teenager because she's frustrated that she can't summon the powers to seal Ganon.

The game is by far the most open world LoZ ever, and feels good to play. Unfortunately, this is a game that's not playable in small chunks. Seriously, so much time spent playing...and beating shrines and finally opening up towers. I only beat one of the major dungeons (will probably go back and do the Zora one soon after I get another four shrines done). I finally got the master sword, although! Can't believe one of the more important items in the lore isn't a plot item although.

Zelda just keeps surprising you; as well as being one of the most amazing open-world games. None of it (all the interconnected elelments) feel gimmicky, like GTA does a lot of the time. It all goes to serve the game, and get you lost in Hyrule. Everything (even something unexpected - and seemingly gimmicky - like cooking) is enjoyable and feels complete. It's just incredibly polished and fun throughout, even doing silly side quests is fun. It's as enjoyable as Teh Phantom Pain, with similar depth to the systems it uses. It just feels more like a finished game, instead of half of one. Maybe because you always have to improvise and adapt, instead of clinging to one way of doing things. The art style is exquisite, and gives you teh feels; getting rained on constantly in Zora world makes you appreciate those sunsets all the more.

What people may not have discovered? Going to the heart-shaped pond gives you a valentine's side-quest, that makes you feel good. Going to the deserted island turns you into Robinson Crusoe (!)

Also: don't step on those flowers! You've been warned...

To me, it's got the most feeling of going out there and exploring that I've felt since when the original was released in 1987 (86 was japan only). There's always something new around every corner, an while it's not flawless (a lynel sword breaks after 3 stalbobos and one more low level enemy???????) it's one of the best games ever. Anyone giving it a 7/10 must have been too busy with a donut in one hand and a hot dog in the other to actually play it so just gave it a low score to troll.
