@Dio Vento i am currently doing a nuzlocke, not a let's play, but I noticed that a weedle I caught came with a beedrillite. Is that legal or should I throw it out.

Well, you obviously can't get Beedrillite from a wild Weedle normally. If you're asking if Beedrillite is legal in Sun/Moon, then yes it is, since it was a reward for participating in this online event that came out recently. It is also slated to be released via online distribution for everyone else some time next month.

All species that have a Mega Evolution in their line are capable of holding that Mega Stone in the wild. I'm not actually up to date on which Mega Stones have been released for Sun and Moon yet, so look it up on Serebii if you're worried about someone seeing you with an "illegal" Mega Stone.

I meant should it have had that. I couldn't care less if it isn't "competitively legal". Just wanted to make sure I didn't have to delete it.

I followed the instructions for SaltySd, but when i start the game it gives me a black screen.
Luma 6.6
Game updated to 1.1

Edit: is there anything to do before the instructions listed in the first page?
Edit2: Ok, now works (if it shows me the Umbra Moon screen title means that it works isn't it?)
Does the hack have different dialogues than the original game like Rutile Ruby? Can i play it in Italian?

The romhack has minor text edits:
  • A different opening monologue
  • Trainers' pre- and post-battle dialogue changed occasionally to reflect new teams (I love my Cleffa so much! sends out not-Cleffa)
  • A couple easter eggs
  • Switch Mode is nerfed to no longer reveal the incoming Pokémon
If you play in Italian, you won't get any of those except the Switch Mode nerf.

Step 1: Buy the game
Step 2: Don't pirate the game
Step 3: Don't not buy the game

"Switch Mode no longer reveals the incoming Pokémon", that's the only thing I do not like, I stopped playing when I got to Hauoli for that...

Pushing the obvious gameplay reasons aside, it doesn't even make sense for the feature to exist. How are you able to read the minds of every trainer you ever fight?

To be honest, I kinda wish the type matchup thing was removed, too, but I can understand why it was kept in.

(just some light-hearted fun, but seriously Switch Mode is still game-breakingly easy even without declaring the incoming switch)

Switch Mode exists for a natural-feeling easy mode that people won't even realize is an easy mode. Game Freak is actually really good at designing difficulty reduction features that avoid the problem of feeling like you're playing on "easy mode". Honestly, I don't have much of a problem with the type matchup thing, anyone with any skill at all isn't going to need it and it's not particularly intrusive. Though Gen VI Battle Spot was fun for a while when everyone would use Fire moves against my Florges.

Another thing , Dont try to randomize egg moves , the program gives an error and asks you if you want to ignore and continue, I did that , the game still played but locked up when trying to buy something from the Pokemart, it still plays the music, also don't try to change any of the prices in the shop, it will rebuild the cro file and you will get the same. You can randomize evolutions, randomize leveling up moves and randomize encounters, but do the evolutions and leveling up moves BEFORE randomizing encounters. The files that are saved when you finish randomizing encounters include evolutions, leveling up moves and the shop.cro file. Note that if you want to save the 2 and 3 files that are saved by the cia program, and you want to copy them to your saltysd file , you must reverse them so that 2 is 3 and 3 is 2 for each file in the a\0\8 folder in the saltysd files. I have done this and it is a lot of fun playing a Leveled version with randomized level up moves, and randomised encounters.... anyways I have had a lot of fun .... rcamp48
