You're a life saver!!
I'm going to use your file as a base to make an "everyone can marry everyone" patch, if that's okay! I've been meaning to make one for months, and this file makes it much easier.
Go right ahead, though I'm not sure the game lets some characters S support regardless of what the GameData.bin says.

Hi, I have tried to extract gamedata.bin from my cia file, using different save extractors such as JK's save manager, but I couldn't get the gamedata.bin file. I wonder which application I need to use to get the bin file. Is that only for the cartridge?

GameData.bin isn't part of the save file, it's part of the ROM itself. You can use braindump to dump your romfs and either romfs extractor or ctrtool to extract the contents. Use FEAT to decompress GameData.bin.

Thank you very much for your fast reply! After I modify GameData.bin, I assume I need to do something like repacking the contents into a cia file, and use it to replace the original cia, right? What are the applications to use to achieve that? Thanks a lot in advance! I'm pretty new to rom hacking. :D

You'll need to recompress GameData.bin. I use BatchLZ77 for this to make things easy, though there are a couple different programs out there that can do the job. Afterwards you could either rebuild the ROMFS and use HANS, create a new CIA with the modifications, or use NTR so that you don't have to go through rebuilding whenever you make changes (if you have access to NTR and plan on doing any sort of ROM hacking, I highly recommend just using NTR over the alternatives).

Thank you very much! I will look things up! Could I ask you more questions if I encounter them in the future? Thanks~

Hi again, if you know about @DeathChaos25 's custom playable characters such as Mikoto and Garon. It seems the support editor cannot add supports for them, since they are not even in the drop-down menu when you open nightmare characters module. Is there any way that I can add supports for those "hacked" units? Thanks a lot!

Because of the way those characters are added, I think that you would have to add in the supports through the DLC itself. I haven't done anything with supports for custom DLC characters to be honest.

I know for my units that I'm going to add supports for them soon, so wait for Deathchaos to do the same.

They can have C-A Rank supports at the moment if you put a support table for them in GameData.bin. There is a much better way to add the supports using dlc however.

Any possibility that either you or DeathChaos25 will release a combined DLC with all the currently available custom characters that all have C to S supports?

you probably got asked this question a lot, but can male units still have children if their paired up with supports not in the base game using this editor?

Yes, there shouldn't be any problems with male units having children through new supports unless they're male/male, in which case you'll need to use the fix mentioned in the same-sex patch.

I'm having a problem. I'm adding all support options to all characters, but once I try to add supports to Hinoka, it gives me an error and asks me if i want to continue or to exit the program. So I tried to fix some stuff with HxD but even after fixing some minor things, it gives me the same error. :/
Could someone check if something's wrong in the file?

Hello and first of all thanks for your editor.

I've been having a hard time with it though, It seems it won't save the correct info.
I've been trying to edit GameData.bin, using the Gamedata.bin.lz provided in the NTR CFW version of the great UnassumingVenusaur mod; I've decrypted the file with BatchLZ77 and renamed the .bin.lz.decompressed to just ".bin" and opening it through your support editor. So far, so good. I do get the occasional error that allows me to chose "continue" but this isn't the issue that's bothering me.

The program doesn't seem to want to save the correct data,
i.e. I edited Ryoma to only have S rank w/ Corrin, most females units, retainers and Nohr royalty, but when I save and exit, the change is messed up on reloads, in this case I can't seem to allow S ranks for both FCorrin and MCorrin as it disables the other when I save one as S-rankable (it does scramble the other relationships around too).

I can't seem to understand why this is happening, I'll try editing a fresh .bin and see what happens.

EDIT: Even with the default .bin provided on this topic (on the previous page) I have the exact same problem.
