Hacking Emulation RetroArch/Libretro Thread: PS Vita Edition! Nightlies Included

If you look at my previous posts on this thread I had a few changes to speed things up on the PS1 core.
Cool, I'll check them out.
For some reason unknown to me, I can't get retroarch to work on my PSTV.
Everytime I try to load content, be it at any core, the program crashes with the typical vita error and log creation process, and exits...
Weird thing is, older versions used to work, on older henkaku versions as well...

Try deleting the Retroarch folder located in ux0/data/retroarch and then reinstalling Retroarch.

Yeah... There was no retroarch folder before... I didn't had it installed...
And I tried deleting the folder after installing and trying the first time, no luck...
I'm having the same problem for some reason. Are you using USB by any chance? Maybe it's something to do with this..

Yes, yes I am. Using the new VitaShell USB ux0 Mount feature.
Every game so far as worked without any issues. Only retroarch is presenting me such problem...
That, and the Fury DLC from WipeOut, but I think it's something else unrelated...

it's probably something with USB then. Got to stick to an older version of retroarch until they fix it I guess :\

Which older version are you using that is working?
Because the older version I reffered was working but on a card, I didn't test it on USB.
Version 1.3.0 or 1.3.2 I think (I'm not around the console atm).

v1.3.2 has VELF files instead of VPK installable files.

Okay for some reason when trying to load the PS1 core it just crashes with this error C2-12828-1 and I really have no freaking idea why.

I'm still using one from December because I don't think there have been major updates from reading the threads. Works well!
