i have absolutely no clue what some of you guys are talking about. i rarely ever have framerate problems, and when i do, they are only for a short moment. pop in is there, but i rarely see it, textures look great, and it loads in like 10 seconds average. the load time when you first boot the game is a bit longer than i'd prefer, but still better than, say, ps3 skyrim load time. The only real issues i have are the seeming uselessness of stabling horses, how rare and expensive arrows are (i mean goddamn, i spent 200 rupies and only got 20), and that i cant buy weapons(as far as i know). im only like 15 hours in, so these issues could go away later. though, one weird thing happened. I had been using pins since the beginning of the game, and at one point after climbing up a tower, it told me i had gained the ability to use pins... is this just me?

Hi,what do you mean "pins"?

Can i install the Game on USB and the Update(TexturePack like XCX) on NAND?
Nintendo says for weeks that Update can only installed on NAND.Now it is installed on USB.
Can i copy(Update) from HDD to NAND, or loose my Save?

Sorry my bad english

Bye

It's just teaching you how to use them up there, with the scope (press the right analog stick) . You can do everything since the beginning of the game, but if you learn stuff on your own good for you.

Also, the game runs like shit. I'd say 80% of the time it's stable at 30? Frames maybe, but 20% of the time it drops, especially in the village as you all pointed out. It's still playable though.
Can't wait for the Switch, I'm actually wondering if it's worth it playing it now or if it just looks the same on Switch.

Looks great to me. I'm sure it would have been more optimized for Wii U had it not been moved over to the Switch. There are certainly frame rate dips, though it isn't as bad as GTA 4 was on 360, by comparison.

The switch version in portable is said to run without any frame drops, minus the rare occasion in a foggy forest or something during a fight.

Just. No. People stop with this TV "filters" nonsense. The guy knows nothing about the features of his television, and neither does anyone else if they believe he has a magical filtering television. C'mon people. Really?

I mean he said himself he was using filters...

And I'm saying the guy who said it doesn't know what he's talking about. His tv has no "filters" that would increase the image quality. Unless you consider maybe bumping up the sharpness a filter, but every HDTV in existence has a sharpness adjustment.

The "frame rate boost" filter he mentioned is nothing more than "motion smoothing" or "motion interpolation" that most every HDTV also has - but has NOTHING to do with the fps in a game. A person would not even be able to tell this was turned on by looking at a still image.

The "anti-aliasing filter" is his televisions "Noise Reduction" setting, which again, nearly every HDTV has. It lessens picture noise such as compression artifacts by blurring the image. This setting would make it look worse however, instead of better. If he compensated for the blur by turning up the sharpness.... he basically voided having it enabled anyway.

Thought I'd post a few captured screenshots.
Two of them were too big for the hosting site, imgur and others I tried just fucked themselves so I'm not gonna bother trying more. But here's two shots at least
img01 (inventory menu)
img02 (landscape)

Are they from the Wii U? Direct screenshots? Because they look too good, jarring aside but that's hardware limitation.

Yes,it works
My Samsung TV has LED Motion Plus(,Anti Aliasing(Kantenglättung in german),Optiumal Contrast
Schwarzton(optimised Black Color,reduce Fog )
Digital Noise reduction
LED Motion Plus(optimised "fast Scenes"),
With all Filters i have a better Screen and reduce Frame Drops(Led Motion Plus can this,no Joke)but with a Higher Input Lag.
By some Games i can set Filters but for Race Game/Shooter i need the Game Modus without all Filters.
But for a Zelda or Darksiders 2 it can help.

Bye

Yes. These are images captured directly from a Wii U runnning 1080p through HDMI using Elgato Game Capture HD60 (@official software).
The game does look very good to be a Wii U game imo.
That's why this thread is so controversial I guess xD

[btw I updated the post with the 2 screens that wouldn't upload x)]

Like, god damn your pictures are a big relief, reading this thread I was expecting the worst of the worst, but that's pretty good for Wii U standards.. minus the jarring, everything else is much better than I expected. Alarmism as always....

Thought I'd post a few captured screenshots. I don't think this looks bad. The framerate is horrible at times (as mentioned probably a hundred times at this moment).
Had to upload 2 of them at a different hosting site since every other hosting site was fucked.

The limitations are certainly very visible but at the same time it looks really nice too. Like, the screenshot you took below is magnificent.
