also, out of the volume normalized re-done packs, did you notice that megamanx3 is considerably quieter than x1-2? i can barely hear the music in the opening stage unless i turn the volume way up, but then the sound effects are too loud
I haven't played it yet, since i am playing just a few MSU games at a time (starting with Chrono Trigger), and some other simple ones. I'd suggest to report it back in that Z thread.

@seam have you tried editing the actual PCM files used for the MSU-1?
I believe those are some sort of WAV iles with a simple bitrate modification and extension name change.
You could easily edit it with Audacity, amiplify each track to like 3-5 dB or something like that to make it more noticeable in-game without having to change the volume and have your ears bleed with the soudn effects.

Yep, i already did all that. Its not that easy though. Each track requires loop points, which makes it a huge pain in the ass to do.

So with the latest build I have now tested it extensively, it does in fact have stuttering issues. I am only testing the megamanx trilogy and super metroid, but if you play any of these 4 games for at least 20mins, youll see the issue several times. It's easy to see. This isnt a complaint, merely a report.

Hey niuus, qwerty added the fix for savestates/snapshots so the audio doesnt stop anymore. If you or someone else can compile it. (posted in the other thread)

Just asking because I legit can't remember and cannot boot vWii at the moment.
But does this emulator run BS Zelda with the Mottzila patch (which combines Map 1 and 2)?
I ask because I wanted to give a reference to bubble2k (the dev for Snes9x for O3DS) to take a look at, since this is one of the games that his emu cannot run yet.

I'm having trouble getting the image previews to work, the only solution I've found is to resize the box art to the exact same resolution as a screenshot which I took inside the emulator and replace it which is kind of crazy.
Will it only accept that one particular resolution?

Nice! I haven't checked it yet, the bad news would be that i am currently far away from home (and my PC), so i can't provide with a compiled build to test.

I'm curious, is it just as good to play emulators like this separately from Retroarch? B/c I've seen that some people play these console emulation programs through Retroarch but I'd personally rather play them on their own to keep things simpler. Is there some advantage that I'm missing?

Don't post the same thing in multiple threads.
If you needed something maybe you should have asked for it before Friday if you hope for it for the weekend?

from what i´ve red the advantages is you can get all games for emulation.
the purchase version (virtual console) have troubles with licenses therefor they cant supply all the titles because of legal issues.
For me for example ive used to play a game to SNES called "UN squadron" wich i wanted to play and it was not available trough virtual console so i was forced to run it trough emulation.

Ive guess the downside is you have to have some technical knowledge and install stuff and download stuff instead of just putting in the cd and play.
For me i bought snes controllers to play my games and then they didnt work for this emulation program (they do work for the traditional legal options) so again you need
some tehnical knowledge to get this to work.

The Snes9xGX with Cover Mod and Scanlines, thats so awesome, it helps me get the scanlines on the HD CRT that i use, and looks so awesome. Is it possible to mod FCEUGX and the GenesisPlus GX to get the scanlines? I would be grateful for such mods.
