Don't know if this is widely known but USFII will have a Japanese physical release. Didn't notice an RRP price yet (it's not on the Japanese Amazon anyway) or a Western release either.

In other news, USFII will feature a First Person Mode and view over 250 pages of artwork.

If the price for the PAL/US version of USFII is decent, I'll get it!

Something else neat that this box also revealed: there's a first-person mode in this game roughly translated to "hadoken" mode. As far as anyone can tell for this mode, you fire the famous energy bolts at enemies as they approach you. Possibly motion controlled.

The Joy-Cons should be great to use on the 1st Person Mode and no more wires (Wiimote + Nunchuk)! :)

That game box reminds me of PSP games. :P

I don't care for physical release, if is not even that huge in file size. Probably gonna be less than 1.5GB anyway, probably shouldn't even be that big compared to the PS3/Xbox 360 HD remix release. So physical release is a waste of money to me, only to collectors who like that stuff i guess. But i feel digital games should be cheaper than retail, cause it doesn't cost as much to produce. Not making many copies of physical carts/disc to play the games on using resources, instead of just downloading it from a server.

They still charge the same price or more so releasing a physical edition of the game is a great idea and it even grabs customers who'd avoid it if it were digital-only, such as myself. If the price is right or slightly above it, I'll for sure be getting it then.

Street Fighter II has been perfected by now so pumping it once more and with a cool new first person mode should make things very interesting.

Digital is much less of a thing over here, mainly due to old habits dying hard, people liking the ability to trade in, and people wanting something tangible to 'own'. This will likely apply with most digial only games.

The cases are slightly bigger than PSP cases, but only a little.

I understand the value of owning a game cart or disc but the difference in cost efficentcy is what i was saying, Capcom made super street fighter IV for $60, they made super street fighter IV, arcade edition for $40, then Ultra street fighter IV for $40 You can go buy them in a store or if you stil have The one before the upgrade, you can download it for $15. It was that difference that i was talking about. Should we really be paying full retail price of $40-60 (not sure yet) for a remastered game based on a game over 25 years ago, which is also based on a game in 2008 that was a download only title on PS3/xbox 360 for $15 (I think that is the current price)

Is the same thing with mega man legacy collection on 3ds, download it for $15 or buy a cart for $40, it just makes more sense to me. That was my poin. :)

Oh they definitely pocket the cost difference between physical and digital. Anybody who thinks otherwise is naive.

Cool, color edit mode. Remind me of The cape in castlevania symphony of the night, mountain dew soda colors and chocolate colors. :D

other mode seem like street fighter alpha 3 world tour mode. It says you earn points and strengthen ryu powers. Is kinda like that, i be happy. I love world tour mode. :P

Man i wish they just make a street fighter alpha 3 online mode by now, like 3rd strike. :(

Wait a second
If there's a physical box out there in Japan already, does that mean Ultra Street Fighter II could be a launch game?

No official release date given yet and considering we're extremely close to March 3rd, it's most likely not going to be a launch release.

Does this version uses new gfx or the old sprites ?

Pip,
Look up "Super Street fighter 2 Turbo HD remix" for ps3 or xbox 360, that should be enough of a idea what to expect.

It looks exactly like that but with 2 characters (Evil ryu, and Violent Ken) dramatic battle (For the Street fighter alpha homies out there. ;) ) and some other modes.

You can always count on Capcom to come up with awfully laughable names/titles. Can we also expect a Pregnant Chun-Li? :rofl2:
