Nintendo doesn't keep an ip log and they can't tell what files you downloaded, it would just look like you where downloading an update for mario maker or some other game
If I get an email, I'd be ecstatic. The ISPs in the UK send informative emails out now, instead of the 3 strike rule. Then again, not many companies even choose to go after downloaders now. Costs too much and in the end, it's a complete waste of time.

I was actually one of those people who used Uwizard to download the files, and I doubt any warning will be sent. But who knows? It might happen. xD
It's also not illegal to download the files since they are on an unprotected public server, they only become illegal once you extract them with the title key since they are just an encrpyted garbled mess before you extract them. Even if they did introduce an IP log just cause it would just look like you are preloading the game just like any other person who pre-ordered it

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
