I was hoping to try RNGing some Ultra Beasts but apparently you can't change the flag to let you rebattle them in PKHex yet. :/

Ah dang, sorry to hear that. On the plus side, Quan's SuMo RNG Tool had a pull request accepted earlier, so hopefully some other types of rng will be made much easier as well!

It does but at least now I have a reason to do a play through of Pokemon Sun that I've been meaning to do for a while now. :P

That's why I make backups of each Ultra Beast encounter, so I don't have to do another playthrough, as I already did 3, 2 on Moon, 1 on Sun, that's more than enough when it comes to these games. This way I can catch more of certain Ultra Beasts, having now 8 Celesteelas between 3 games.

sometimes it advance 6frame sometimes 7
when you pause it is random F

my target is 32816
I pause in 327XX then push select advance frame then I get 32816

I don‘t know it is luck or what ever

great success

Great Success if an understatement! Those are incredibly cool!! Thank you for sharing, and great work!!! :D

I've been trying to reach you lately, but I think our time zones are proving to make that a difficult task!

With the new application it is really too simple now! :D

Haha thank you! :grog:

does it work on wild pokemon

Real.96 has a guide that works for the Shininess of Pokemon. The general concept can be used the same for wild Pokemon, but the IVs will be incorrect for the moment.

"You received Type:Null!"

This is correct!

Sorry to derail the conversation, but will this also work for future mystery gift events? I guess it's hard to say at this point but presumably there will be a "predictable" pokecenter with a low NPC count.

I'll let Djura's Screenshots answer that :)

EDIT: Sorry, I somehow missed this comment!

Yes, they are completely predictable. On the first pokemon center NPCs are 8 and the RNG is pretty identical to the Type:Null one. The developer is going to study the rng of events with fiexed stats and events evewith nothing fixed

managed to SR a shiny type: null on the first try this today, I had to put him on the HB PKSM's Pokebank just to re-attempt that again. :D

EDIT: I mean I had to restore my recent save file before getting a Type: null from Gladieon.

Wow - that's a great catch! Thanks for the screenshot!!! :D

I'm not sure if it's possible, but can this be used to RNG a 6IV Ditto?

As Real.96 just pointed out, some nice info has come out (including wild IV RNG) in the form of a new tool being released as v1.0.0 today, we're looking into the differing features of the current tool we advise using. For now, I suggest users check it out for themselves as well!

A success is still a success! Nice work!! :D

There is an update of the app. Now it will tell you which frame you will surely get :) I'll make a guide soon

Thank you for bringing this up! :)
