My guess, the snake is in perpetual motion and you lead his head with the stick with the rest just following. Maybe X or Y causes a curl. Doesn't seem like he has a jump and strike move.

From the little I have watched curling around stuff is critical to keep him from falling. I am intrigued to say the least.

Edit: I watched a few minutes again and the snake was stopping but from the movements of the head it sure does look like it's just up/down/left/right. Wherever the head goes the rest will follow. So the control scheme doesn't look all that complicated to me.

Interesting little game, if the price is right, I may potentially pick it up.

Tbh when I saw this game at first coming for switch and ps4 I thought it was a remastered and 'reimagined' version of the snake game from the old Nokia phones(without looking at any trailer or anything like that). But it is a pretty decent game and has an interesting take on platformers.

The developers told it only took a week?Well the switch is really easy to port to then

That's mighty impressive. I guess they designed the Switch for an easy port of games which is good in my opinion. Hopefully, it's not a crappy port though and it's optimized for performance.

Personal note: I have all the targeted platforms (ok Switch is a thurs...er...Friday pickup for me)
Only one copy of this title will be bought.

Which is the most logical version to buy, in such a scenario heheheh

I literally don't know why people are worried. GDC is going to be interesting indeed heheh

With the option between PC and Switch I think I'll be getting it on Switch. The aesthetic of this game negates a lot of the need for sharper graphics. I'll be getting Yooka-Laylee on PC assuming it doesn't release at the same time for Switch, though.

The gameplay looks really boring of this snake game but the soundtrack is composed by David Wise so there's something good.

Designers just released a video of the control mechanism. You actually do control the sidewinder movement to gain speed and coiling around things. This looks really cool and I am definitely going to get it.

I have watched them play it and I still don't know how you control that snake

Looks interesting though.
that's what i was wondering, how do you contorll it? it seems pretty complicated..
hopefully will not be one of thoose "just hold the stick up, she dodges and does stuff automatically" controlls

Still looks boring to me. Doesn't seem like there's much of a challenge.
