How do you hit the tilde key by mistake? It's at the opposite end of the keyboard from the hyphen key... And you have to hold Shift to type a tilde anyways.-15 Months

People that exclusively pirates will probably never buy a game in the first place. Plus I think a lot of people are like me, if they like the game. They buy it. Anyway people pirating is most likely a minority.

Basically people who can afford the games, won't do it.
Nintendo could always pull a dick move and only enable GameCube playback when its docked. But hopefully they don't.

If the Switch uses Android as a base, it does not mean "OOHHH IT USES ANDROID!!! DAY 1 EXPLOIT!! ETA SON"
The only thing that I think it would work as an exploit(but I'm 100% sure they patched it) it's Dirty Cow.
But yeah, do not get your hopes up just because it's Android based it does not mean the Android exploits will 100% work here.
