an old 3ds (not xl) with a9lh installed on the latest firmware with a weird charging issue in which u have to maneuver the cable a certain way for it to charge the system. the cable charges my new 3ds just fine, so I think it's the system. unfortunately, I no longer have my tools to figure out the problem. :( how's $50? is that too cheap or too much?

First of all, I'm pretty sure GBAtemp has a selling forum to ask for things like this at https://gbatemp.net/forums/want-to-sell-wts.159/
Secondly, that may even be a little low. Just the motherboard of a 3ds still goes on eBay for like $30 I think? I think I only saw a couple 3ds in an ebay search sell for less than $80, but just do a little research.
If the only issue is that the charging port may be damaged, charging ports are cheap to fix for anyone who really wants to.

thanks, guys. I need some quick cash, so I'll probably sell it soon on ebay or something.

Just be careful if you're advertising it as A9LH on eBay. Nintendo likes to go on the site every now and then and DMCA listings that advertise A9LH, CFW, Luma3DS, wireless streaming/stream cap, etc. I listed one, got DMCA'd. I waited until a busy time (X-Mas) and then it sold just fine. Just a fair warning.

I saw a couple yesterday when I was looking through sold listings that advertised CFW or A9LH I think.

I'd maybe throw 30$ at that, but knowing the cost to repair it is real turn off. I can buy a used one from my local store for like 70$.
First, what store is that, because I can't find one near that cheap around here, yet alone one I know will work with A9LH.
Second, it seems to me like it really depends on what the problem is and whether you're willing to pop the 3ds open and fix it yourself. Getting other people to fix things for you is always the expensive part. Sounds to me like the problem is just the charging port, which you can buy a replacement on ebay for around $3-5.

I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.

@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
