Question - the n64 games I have on the nesc work really well (Mario 64, Mario kart, etc) but the amount of pixellation is a lot higher than I've seen on other n64 emulators. Any thoughts on what settings to "tweak"?

Enable bilinear filter but this affects to worst performance.

There's a problem: keys are set, but nothing happen when I press them...
edit: and BIGGER problem: I touch device option by accident, I can't now longer navigate in retroarch menu, even if I reset the nes...

I know this has been talked about a lot... but can I get a quick tutorial on how to add cores? I'm interested in adding the picodrive core to my system for Sega 32X.

Also... has anybody got the analog stick working with diagonal directions acting properly? And if not, can N64 be forced to use the D-pad so that my games are halfway playable?!

Hi!
Do you how many time it takes to send 700 nes games to the NES Mini ?

It takes about a half hour. Probably about an hour to download all the cover art. You will have to follow the directions on your computer periodically when syncing that many games. You will have to restart your mini in fel mode about 5 or 6 times to transfer that many games, but its a painless process

Install again from module-install extra modules and select only retroarch module.

I'm looking to add the best module for n64 and if there is one for ps2, also any idea what controller to use for the n64 and ps2. I currently am using the wii classic controller for snes games. Also one more thing, does anyone know what folder settings I should use to organize my games based on console. any replies would be greatly appreciated!

Question for anyone who has Sega Master System games...

I am using the genesis_plus_gx core.. and all games work and have save states except for Phantasy Star... When I press the home button, I don't even get a save state to save... all other sms games save just fine..

Is this a problem with the core itself with this particular game or is it possible that the rom I have is corrupt? Or is there a different sms core that works better and supports save states for Phantasy Star?

I had the same problem with Snow Bros. on the Genesis system. I renamed the zip file without the . in Snow Bros and then it would create a save state. Weird I know. Check the naming of the Rom file and see if there's a bunch of punctuation that you can get rid of if possible.

Never even thought of that... the rom name did have some punctuation in it... changed it and will flash again in a little while... hopefully that does the trick!
Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

Just resend the mod. Mine did this. Was letting me bring retro menu up fine then all the sudden I push buttons and nothin couldn't bring it up. Resent the mod and now I can bring it up again.

Good morning guys. I was doing a massive sync last night trying to add a lot of CPS2 stuff but I kept getting a lot of the dreaded "red light stays on". I was able to test most of the games individually if I uploaded them by themselves but if I tried to add them as a group it would hang. I was trying to put them in a folder as a group. Is that the issue? Should larger games just be added into the root directory? Is the 30mb limit per game or per sub-folder? I think the only ones I was able to add as a group into the "Capcom" folder were Puzzle Fighter, Punisher, and Aliens vs. Predator which as a group were not as big.

So I'll ask jokingly is anyone actually playing games on this system or just too busy adding 1000 plus of them?

I'm asking this as I'm hitting some limitation on the system after playing games and unsure how to proceed. Basically it is throwing me a C4 error when trying to save SNES games. I've done some basic research and determined:

1) I can have 18* saved SNES thumbnails/games (excluding battery backup) across as many folders as I want
2) When limit is reached I can still save games for all other systems! Including well above 20 Genesis games.
3) Limit is not impacted if I remove ROMs
4) State Slot is set to '0' (not sure if this was the default?)
5) Previously opened a lot of games that seem to create .SRAM (not sure how to remove, but I have tons!)
6) Battery Backup Saves (i.e. Final Fantasy) do not seem to impact (at least creating an individual slot, now a brand new game being added might?!?!?)
7) It might be unrelated, but I noticed (after a recent transfer) that one of the last games (when sorted by folder view on the PC) had the broken image thumbnail instead of a screenshot for a save state. I've also noticed that although Hakchi reports a successful transfer if I bridge more than about 220 megs the last few games don't actually show up (It seems to consistently happen regardless of folder or game structure).

*18 might not be exact as if a ROM was removed the save game hangs around the system, but I'm pretty good about deleting those thumbnails so it's pretty close to that number.

I'm using SNES 2010 Core.

Thoughts? Can someone see how many save states they can create on their own system for SNES, perhaps 25-30?!? I probably have SRAMs for twice that number. I've read somewhere else that another user seemed limited at 10. I am thinking we might be hitting that 30mb limit in some cache folder somewhere which would explain 1-6 and also 7.

BTW, I know I am new to this forum, but dang is this thread out of control. Surprised it hasn't been locked to force separate topics. My sincere apologizes if this was covered earlier, I tried to skim the near 300 pages but couldn't find anything about it.

That's what happened to me lastnight trying to add a few more 64 games. Couldn't handle on the 5th sequence and just stays in.
