Gaming How big will Zelda Breath of the Wild be in GB size?

I was just wondering, how big will it be?
I wanted to get the digital version but I have only like 15 GB or so of free space in my Wii U.
It'd be nice to have all three of the Zeldas in the Home menu waiting to be played

So yeah, what are your speculations guys?

They already said it's around 13 GB in both versions.

you will need a min of 3gb for the disc version no matter what (]for an install)
but it is 13gb for the digital

Oh so it's gonna be 13 GB?
Damn am I in luck, I will barely make it. xD
I might have to delete some extra downloaded games to make extra space, maybe delete DK64 and play it through Loadiine to save more space and so on.
Perhaps Child of Light too.

Use a HDD enclosure and buy a cheap 500gb xD

Dont forget the Y-Cable too, assuming its not powered by AC adapter.

HDD enclosures are something like this I used it with an old 750GB HDD, no need for y-cable xD
Unless you're talking about like SSDs and stuff, then yeah a y-cable is all you need xD

There are HDD 2.5" enclosures too, you didn't say you were talking about the 3.5" ones, which are nearly always powered by AC adapters.

Is there any real need to enclose a 2.5" when using it for a wii though? I just have mine sitting out with a y-cable connected to my tv because I use it for cartoons and anime xD

13 gb for digital. and for disk version you can install 3gb in your console to help loading times

its 13 gigs for digital version but if you're using the disk version you need about 3 gb free for instalation purpuses. the digital version does not need those 3 extra gigs, Kinda like Xenoblade X did.

But we don't know how big the DLC will be and the sava data. Remember you need space for all it. You can't split them up.

I don't think anyone knows DLC size, however save data won't be an issue at all.. unless you literally fill those last 13gb xD

Cough External Hardrive Cough. I have a 1TB external USB 3 HDD, it works fine. And you can install tons of games. Seriously, pick one up for cheap.

The Wii U version is exactly 9.83GB. Nintendo unfortunately isn't all that accurate with what they say about it's size. It may be larger on the Nintendo Switch version, but the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild is definitely 9.83GB (may be slightly larger when decompressed, such as 9.86GB or something).

It may be less than 13GB but there will be a 3GB forced install on the Wii U (not the Switch). According to Nintendo flash memory won't work (if the translations are correct) - i.e. it sucks as the internal storage of the white Wii Us is around 3GB.

I'm sure the forced install will actually count as extra data, in which will be used for quicker reading times, so it can be as identical to the Switch version (except for it's control buttons).

Well it was confirmed from the Eur Eshop it needs 11 gigs to download and install. So in reallity it would be around 10 gigs or maybe less.
