Did you follow the instructions in setmiiup? If you followed it and still not working, try following the guide generated by modmii.... that's what I did.
yes, I followed setmiiup precisely. wii is updated with the latest IOS versions and everything works fine EXCEPT for booting Sneek(2o)
It just won't boot! I have the channel installed and all the right files on my primary, active FAT32 SD card.

When you installed all the IOS, did it give you the "completed" message or something like that?

Not really, modmii its includded, but the source basically its from Mailbomb + Wilbrand launcher.

Oh okay~ Well, thanks for your work. I originally hacked my Wii back in 2012; and damn it was tough. I had to look up tuto's, restore backups (because I screwed up stuff), and eventually got it to where I wanted it. And I keep it up to date all by myself. But, this utility seems quite useful; so, I'll keep it tucked away in my Documents when I need it.
Just opting to comment here rather then start a new thread but. I'm just curious, I went the route of using letter bomb to install the homebrew channel, I installed the necessary cios to run wii and gc iso's(yes I know only wii backups need that and not gc). And installed the channel for usb laoder gx. What else can I do with homebrew on wii?
you should be able to play using usbloader GX....try download the latest usb loader

still a bummer wiisx can't run mgs without loads of stutter, thx though XD, i just seriously need to update my stuff cause who knows how outdated of stuff I put on there, lul
Usbloader works just fine. It even boots emunand. But through cIOS which has weak compatibility. When I try to boot a n64 game on emunand through NEEK it results in a black screen that lasts forever. NEEK is a real bitch to setup.

Did you follow the tutorial given? you need to install IOS 236 according to the files that ModMii generates.
Once IOS236 is installe,d you will have full control over the system inputs and outputs.
You are kidding right? i cant tell you how many things are wrong with this statement.
