Hi!~

So basically, I bought the most godly recommended R4i GOLD RTS from nds-card.com okay, to replace my r4 gold pro 2015 edition. BUT, the saves i have on that, i thought it be possible to just drag and drop onto the new sd card in the flashcart, once booted it loads the games but as a fresh save.. Id like to continue using my saves from the other flashcart..

Is this possible to do? I dont want to lose data.. Its very precious to me

I have used the 3ds.guide to install CFW on my Old 3DS, but it seems it has upgraded the SysNAND to 11.3. Is it supposed to do that or have I misunderstood a step and messed up? Also is there a way I can downgrade and still keep the CFW?

Yes. You should be in 11.3 after the guide. You don't need to downgrade.

Thanks for quick reply. I was asking because I am not sure my R4iTT card for DS games will work on 11.3 and TWLoader doesn't work with the games I would like to play.

DS cards stopped being blocked around 7.x so if your DS flashcart worked on a firmware above 7.x it will work on all versions. If you were using it on a firmware below 7.x and you're really sure it won't work on 11.3 (do plenty of troubleshooting) then have a look at @Apache Thunder's stuff which helps people use old flashcarts.

There's any way to extract some txt file with all CIA installed on emuNand? I know i can dump all tickets and titles.db with D9...

Okay, I didn't know if the otp.bin was used for anything else. I backed up my nand and my emunand.

How do i put the games on? As in is it drag and drop or do i need a another application to load the file?

You mean pirating? Go to FBI -> TitleDB -> freeShop -> install, then open freeShop and find a 3ds title key site and scan the qr code in that site with freeShop

I think I might've bricked my 2DS system.
I had started installing hacks on it a while back (when EmuNAND was still the best option) but I didn't finish the process. I think I stopped after having downgraded it to 2.1.0 (since the top screen image was stretched).

I was unable to get to launch HBL in any way (browserhax, soundhax, oot3dhax) so I decided to update the system using a cart. I went for Majoras Mask (E) which should put it at 9.5.0E

After updating the system does boot to system menu, but it won't launch anything (Settings, sound player, browser). How bad did I mess up? Any way to recover from this at all? ='(

You install games same as you installed any homebrew apps in the guide. Put cia file on SD card, install with FBI. Freeshop as recommended is what you should use, but not all games are on Freeshop.

So I have an extra non-new 3dsxl. I use it for travel and JUST as a supercard DSTWO system for DS and gba/retro stuff. (since I have a n3dsxl for GW/emunand)

The old 3ds just has that one hack from a few years ago, which allows the dstwo card to be usable from bootup, without having to do anything else. (but I think if I pop in the GW card, it somehow wipes that function, and you have to reinstall the hack again in order to use the dstwo cart) I think the sys fw is on 9.2 still on that one.

With the current flimflam with 11.3 and all that drama, is there a way I can install luma/a9lh to the old 3ds, AND update the luma side on it to 11.3, while also keeping the dstwo cart functional? I don't intend on using the GW card with the old 3ds for now, but would like .cia game functionality along with the dstwo though.

Hi,
Can i move/copy/export games downloaded with FreeShop on a CFW O3DSXL to a new CFW N3DSXL?
I don't mind losing the saves - just trying to avoid the lengthy downloads.

I understood the way might be to backup existing games to CIA and then install using FBI but I got lost in the Decrypt9 and GodMode9 threads and for the life of me I couldn't understand if this is possible and if so, how.

In my console's menu, it is identified as the game "SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis THQ". Can I change this header/game icon/game name? I'd like something simpler like "Flashcart" and just some custom image as the game's icon.

No that is what the catridge is spoofed to and is part of the reason why it works.

You can't use the homebrew launcher below 9.0. You were supposed to install a9lh when on 2.1 and then restore your backup of a higher version or do a 9.2 CTR transfer.
I don't know what's wrong with your system, but if you can find your NAND backup from when you downgraded to 2.1, you could restore it with a hardmod. Otherwise, probably wait until 11.3 is exploitable and hope that a normal system update will render it usable again. If you have other games with higher updates, you could try updating with those but I don't hold high hopes.

Since I couldn't find the thread about it, I'll ask here.

Given the constant nags for it, I'm wagering 11.3 is out... any word on whether Luma and/or Gateway3DS (as a luma payload) works in 11.3? Would prefer to keep the latter, because cheats, and .3ds of games I either rather not or can't find on freeshop to install.

hi, i need some help i got a hand down new 3ds XL from a friend about 6 months ago and to be honest i barely touched the thing
by sheer stupidity i tried to do some online stuff with it last week, and now it is asking to do a system update

however i have no idea what was done with this 3ds, it is currently on 11.0 i think, it has a luma update program on it that says it is on 5.5, however my attempt to update it to 6.6 thru it made the version number become a bunch of garbage characters so i restored the backup, but might be just me entering the wrong options when booting from 6.6 (i dint choose anything)
i think it might be booting from emunand since it takes quite a while to boot and takes a long time after leaving after the config menu, i dont know if it has A9LH or is a hardmod at all (i assume is a prerequisite for luma, but i don't know)

i been trying to read on 3ds cfw but after been parachuted into this so im very confused at the moment, any help to deal with this update will be appreciated
