I've played Radiant Dawn to completion, it was really good visually for a fire emblem game but other than that I didn't like it either. I don't understand how other people can say it's so good.Voted Radiant Dawn because it's the only one I played (about 1/3rd through), but wasn't really a fan of it...
(OK, I tried the very first one too, but just because I was practicing at VC injections)
Path of Radiance is dope although I don't like Radiant Dawn muchPath of Radiance/Radiant Dawn.
From training with your dad in your house's garden to fighting the freaking...spoiler.
But yeah, awesome game(s). Titania is my waifu.
Genealogy of the Holy WarJust to jack the thread slightly for a newbie to the series which game would you go with?
I always heard the gamecube was the version to start on, why would you recommend this over the gamecube one? You don't have to justify I would just like to know why.Genealogy of the Holy War
I liked the big maps and the op holy weapons are really fun to play with. It's different from a lot of the other titles and I just find it really fun. Path of Radiance (the one for gamecube) is a phenomenal game too. It's my second favorite fire emblemI always heard the gamecube was the version to start on, why would you recommend this over the gamecube one? I will give it a go, thank you!I liked the big maps and the op holy weapons are really fun to play with. It's different from a lot of the other titles and I just find it really fun. Path of Radiance (the one for gamecube) is a phenomenal game too. It's my second favorite fire emblem
Good luck, it's kind of hard to get into though and will be hard for a beginner. It's also Japanese exclusive but if you know how to patch roms it should be easy.I will give it a go, thank you!
I will take a look at the links provided thank you!Oh gosh, such a tough question!
Genealogy of the Holy War is definitely up there. Super cool maps, nice twist with the story, just a general feel of a huge "epic" story. But Blazing Sword, or just "Fire Emblem" is a really solid game too. Awakening has its faults, but also adds in a bunch of well needed features to the series. Such a tough choice. I think Blazing Sword wins by just a tad, just because who doesn't love Hector?
On the other end of the scale, Shadow Dragon and Fates are probably my most disliked in the series. SD because the maps are absolutely boring and some of the gameplay changes are baffling. Fates because of the terrible writing and bland characters.
