Yes, if you have Luma you can download the PKSM cia and if you use Homebrew, you can export the save with JKSM and open it in pkhex, change it, save it and imported back to your game. it makes no difference.

You should be and as a rule of thumb, if you do online battles, don't edit pokemon in your party or battle boxes since they are constantly being check whenever you connect online.
Actually, I have 99999 money without editing any "money earned" value as well as 9999 BP with 0 as BP earned value and did not get banned. However, this can be partially explained because adding BP through PokéBank does not increase the BP earned value

That is correct, you can have unlimited BPs coming from Pokebank but the game has a 9999BP limit, as a matter of fact, I found that is relatively easy to edit the wonder card from pokebank and modify the amount of BPs using a hex editor. If you can emulate the methods correctly the game cannot tell whether it was edited. I concur that it is possible to have maximum money and not be banned but it is how you got that much that matters since the game logs how much you expend, earned.
However I believe even the Bank Wonder Cards don't matter since one can delete them so they cannot just ban who does not have those cards
It wasn't a console ban, it was a game that ban the gamesync ID which prevented you from participating in world missions, rating battles, online tournaments. It was confirmed that starting over would remove the ban and apparently there were a few methods to get it unbanned. Regardless of the method they would lose their rating battles stats.
Hello guys, first post here, i wanted to create a gamesync id to battle online, thing is, i moved my 20th anniversary legendarys from my AS to my Sun, they all have legit ivs and ev's never modified, my diancie does have diancite which is unobtainable, will they trigger a ban ?
The mons i added were all event GF's i got on AS, i gave mewnium z to mew though.

My suggestion is to toss the diancite. If you are planning to battle online and use gamesync. There were a couple of ppl that claimed that got banned by having unreleased items

AS rayquaza, Galileo Shiny Rayquaza, WHF15 Shiny Rayquaza, 20th anniversary jirachi, manaphy with king rock, darkrai, shaymin, arceus, victini, keldeo,genesect (this one has a exclamation mark on the relearn moves don't know why) gf serpentior, gf emboar, gf samurott and hope diancie, all of them have the normal ivs/evs.

i was doing legal genned pokemon with powersave (egg wonder card code) for competitive in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Y ( all moves, all İV -EV ,abilitys legal). then i was transfering my pokemons to sun-moon with pokemon bank. so, is i'm will be banned? or is i'm safe? my pokemon sun and moon linked to my pokemon gl account. i want to play rating battles. i don't use powersave with pokemon sun and moon.
Ratings Battles are just like Free Battles but "fancier" in the sense that if you can use those mons in anything else, you'll be fine and plus, you won't get banned with it since the game has a legality checker of its own to check which Pokemon are go and which ones are not anyway, the only way to get possibly Game Sync banned is if you have Pokemon in your boxes that are obviously impossible to get (like Marshadow right now, or items like Diancites) and any other values that alter the maximum available or the ones that don't recur to common sense, like x999 gold bottle caps
Anyway, if Pokemon Bank manages to give the A-OK to your Mons over SuMo, I'm fairly sure you can use them without much trouble onto PGL, and as I said, Rating Battles are like Free Battles but with the exception that it gets recorded on a worldwide table and such, a fancier free battle in other words, it may get tricky with the checker included in tournaments but that's another story, point is, I'm sure you can use your mons without receiving any sort of trouble

2. Most users that were banned used the game sync feature.
2.1 My suggestion is to not to generate a game sync ID until you finished everything in the game. and make a save for it as a back up. that way if you do end up getting ban you can use you back up save to generate a new game sync ID without starting over.
2.2 Gamesync is only fully activated after you link it to your PGL account.
2.3 Becareful if you actived NTR cheats and go to Festival plaza after activating gamesync. The game automatically updates your save.
2.4 Don't edit pokefinder
2.5 Don't edit gender/name/skin tone/id
2.6 Don't edit pokemon that are in the battle boxes.
2.7 Don't edit poke currency (make nuggets and sell them instead, not too many)

3. I actually modified Pokéfinder and FCs and accessed Game Sync with the NTR cheat enabled and did not get banned
