If you find the new thread, could you that here please? I expected it to be dead as well, but if not, if they in fact succeeded, man my Wii U will see quite some more play time (at least until Switch VC rolls out gamecube/wii games).

afaik it never worked, you could rip an iso from the nfs and play it on dolphin but the same exact iso when turned back into nfs would not work on wii vc inject.

Makes sense... that still unknown part of the header cannot be correctly generated without knowing what it is (and even then...)

Just like how you can't grab a legit game in wud or installable format, extract it and hack the game, then turn it back into a signed package

We [as homebrew community overally] need to figure out what EGGS-SGGE Header REALLY does. If you look at name, it's reversed.
So in theory, it checks in reverse. [Atleast in my retarted theory] Or it checks both normal and reversed form.
It's just something we have to figure out since looking at this post, either everyone gave up or they need more help :)

The thing is that a dev would need to put a lot of work into this project. As much as we want this, we need someone who wants this and is willing to work on it.

... but since we're having issues, I'm going to say it's encrypted.
I think we are having issues because the header has yet to be fully documented. :P

Yeah but for that we need practically all vWii games to compare them, I think the only thing we know is how many bytes it is, and there are like 8bytes that we don't know which are
